This was a great place! Great for our family of four and our pup! The weather in mid April in this area is unpredictable and cold but there where restaurants and shops nearby when we couldn’t be outside. There seemed to be a lot of construction/ trucks at neighboring properties that was a little loud but again, like the weather, had nothing to do with this place. The owner is prompt and the kitchen is new and large! You can walk to “the Cottage” which is a cool shop and a restaurant/ cafe and beach. We may think about coming back in the summer when I imagine it would be really nice.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this home was. It is more spacious than what I had anticipated. To say it was well-stocked is an understatement. I assume the owner(s) must stay here frequently, as it has everything you could want. The kitchen cabinets are full of just about anything you would need, including detergents, teas/coffee, spices, dinnerware, flatware, serving pieces, etc., etc. The oven is high-end, possibly commercial grade. I especially appreciated the foam mattress beds...not too soft, but very comfortable. I rarely sleep well when traveling, but I slept very well is this home. Pillows were comfortable, too. Plenty of towels, etc. This is a dog-friendly home, which is wonderful for folks who like to travel with their fur-babies. Thanks again, Sean! I look forward to renting with you again.

Hot water took too long to come on. Couldn’t use one of the rooms because no heat. Heat was hard to regulate

Had a great stay at Sean’s!

The home was on a quiet street with stunning views. The Airbnb was stocked with all the supplies you’d need for a longer stay. We thought the kitchen was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was updated and the beds were very comfy. We loved our morning walks to the beach and also enjoyed the Sunset Club for meals at night. For future renters please be aware, the neighbor across the street has a 100lb husky that is not kept on a leash or in the yard. Near the end of our stay the husky ran the across the street and attacked my husband and our leashed dog sending both my husband and dog to the hospital. Our dog required surgery, stitches and staples from the unprovoked attack. The host of the Airbnb followed up and was very kind (not their fault!), but if it was me or a child the damage would have been far worse. Our 35 lb dog barely survived and it has been very traumatic for us.

A lovely place to stay with easy access to Newburyport and Plum Island.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful gem for two nights and had a great experience! Sean’s place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. And the roof deck and patio were wonderful outdoor spaces - so beautiful and quiet!

The rooftop deck wasn't as accessible as we would have liked. The steps to get up and down were a little precarious for us to navigate.

I love plum island. The view from the balcony was as good as I expected! Great location with close by beach access. The kitchen is very well stocked with necessary seasonings, containers, cookware and utensils.

Loved our stay on Plum Island. Very quiet neighborhood and we were able to bike everywhere on the island - it was fantastic!

The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made the whole process hassle-free. A pretty good stay overall, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Nice place. Worked perfectly for my daughter and I. Rooftop deck was really nice. Seemed a little pricey. Camp needs a little maintenance but nothing major. I would stay again.

The cottage was great! Great location. Great fenced in yard for our dog. Kitchen was excellent. Super clean. Walking distance to beach and to area stores. Plenty of places to take a walk. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely cottage on the basin side of Plum Island. The beautiful views from the roof deck, ample living space, and fenced in yard for our dog were all highlights. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and cozy couch! The WiFi is very strong, my husband and I both worked remotely with no issues and there is plenty of space to have 2 distinct work areas. We had a wonderful stay and Sean is a very nice host. Prettier than the pictures!

Nice stay on Plum Island. We had rain and cold weather when we were there, but could easily imagine that the rooftop would be excellent in the warmer months. The place is cozy and easy to find. The beds are either very small queen size, or full size beds. They were hard for 2 people to comfortably sleep. Overall the place was peaceful and had everything we needed.

Wonderful location and the house was as described and pictured. The full kitchen was great. The host communicated well and was responsive. We would definitely go back!

Very cute place! Was perfect for a long weekend getaway! We loved the rooftop deck and the fenced in yard space for our dogs. It also was a quick and easy drive to the main beaches!

This was perfect for our weekend! Love the little neighborhood of beachy, fun houses. Super unique area and walkable to the beach. The house was great for us with our dog and 1 year old. Sean was a great communicator when we had questions. Loved our stay here. Newburyport is also adorable!

I booked this house because it was close to the plum island fishing charters. House was only a few mins drive to the dock. The deck has a nice view of the marsh. The kitchen was well stocked as well so we could prepare some of the fresh fish we caught.

Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the area. The property is charming and relaxing, definitely a great spot to enjoy the plum island area and around. Conveniently close to so many local spots.

We really enjoyed our stay. Brought our teens and dog with us. The space was perfect and we appreciated having our pup with us. Loved the three season porch as an extra place to hang out. The kitchen space is really lovely and has all the supplies we needed. Easy drive into town, and walk or bike to the beach. Thanks!

We enjoyed our time at Sean's place. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It was great to have a fenced yard for our pups. And, communication was fantastic.

All 5 stars Location is full of beautiful sunsets , bring telescope for roof deck star gazing . Very quiet and nice neighbors . House is comfortable and you settle right in ,it’s not stuffy or jam packed with things . We even stayed longer than planned it was that much of a GEM . We recommend With no reservations . The house was pristine and cozy! Everything was immaculate and we felt lucky to find such a great spot on Plum Island. The inside decor is lovely and comfy, and the fenced in yard allowed us to relax with our dog with us. Lots of light and lovely remodeled kitchen and bath. Even though it was cold, we still loved the view and fresh sea air on the rooftop deck. The host made check in and check out super easy. We look forward to returning. Thank you Sean!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this fun beach house. Nice with kids because the indoor porch is off the kitchen and away from the bedrooms, which creates a nice sound buffer. So, we were able to be out there and talk after the kid was asleep. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely cottage, newly refinished, lots of space to gather. Excellent location with generous parking. Host allowed us to check in early and quickly resolved a few random issues.

Easy check-in process and wonderful relaxing stay. It was great for relaxing in the sun on the roof deck. Minutes from the Plum Island beaches and wildlife refuge made for a great vacation.

Location in Newburyport - where it's difficult to find places to stay - was wonderful. The house was private, very neat, and conveniently located. Although we didn't bring a pet on this trip, we appreciated the owner's willingness to let well-behaved pets travel with their owners. Thank you!

clean vacation house on the island with a couple of small bedrooms and a few nice hangout spots. can rideshare into town or go to the beach. easy stay for a couple of people or small family.
