What a perfect vacation house! The house itself is adorable, comfortable space, great backyard, excellent A/C, and super clean. The location is unbeatable. Right across the street from the beach, around the corner from some cute restaurants/bars. Easy access on/off Plum Island to explore Newburyport. Sean was the most responsive AirBNB host I’ve ever encountered. Our family of 5 found it to be extremely comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

A comfortable, homey atmosphere has been created in this beach house. Placement of shelves, cabinets, bookcases, end tables, hooks provide high visibility of stored items, yet pleasantly decorated. Great kitchen and pantry. Enjoyed deck and outdoor patio! Easy beach access! Would book again!

We absolutely loved this beautiful beach house. Location was great, just across from beach and walkable to shops and restaurants, including The Sunset Club. Very clean and fresh and the beachy aesthetic and design choices were perfect. Would definitely like to rent it again!

Casa Del Mare did not disappoint. The space was even sweeter in person, hard to believe given how beautiful it was in the photos. First, the location was perfect. We had never been to Plum Island and it was one of several locations we considered for our long weekend. We have zero regrets and are so happy we went with this location AND this rental. It's a magical place with beautiful beaches and a special vibe. Casa Del Mare is right in the heart of it, exactly where you want to be but also so quiet and peaceful. Just steps away from the beach and a short walk to The Cottage (store + ice cream) and The Sunset Club, a great spot for cocktails, dinner + soaking in the sunset. The rental had everything you would need + some. The kitchen was very well equipped & even had extra unexpected supplies. For the beach: great chairs, a beach wagon, toys and towels all provided! We were happy there were extra blankets for our kids. The house was spotless, easy check in, lots of parking. 5 Stars!

We enjoyed a kid-free weekend away at this beautiful home and location with two other couples! The home was extremely clean, well kept, and had charming, tasteful decor, which we appreciated. They truly thought of everything and have just what you need to fully enjoy your stay! The home is across the street from the beach but situated at the beginning of plum island which made it very easy to enjoy both the beach and downtown Newburyport. We spent a lot of time at the beach (which was a great, private spot), in the home’s backyard, and at the home’s large dining table all together making memories and relaxing. The host was communicative every step of the way and offered us insights on some great restaurant spots. Thank you for your hospitality! Our entire group can’t wait to return one day!

Beautiful, convenient place to stay. Updated and modern but with cottage charm. We wanted for nothing… communication was fast, efficient and helpful. Our only complaint was that we had to leave. Highly recommend.

You can’t beat the location - beach across the street and a short walk to local restaurants or a quick drive to downtown Newburyport. We plan to come back!

Beautiful, clean cozy home within walking distance to the beach and close to the train station. I was glad when I noticed basic supplies were readily available since we got to the location late and stores were closed. Sean is very responsive and polite. Definitely recommend this listing.

We were fortunate to be able to stay at Casa Del Mare in Newbury, MA last month. As we were unfamiliar with this area, we relied on a friend to confirm that the location was going to be perfect for our stay. And she was right! The drive to get to the Airbnb was lined with beautiful homes and calming scenery. The house was just perfect for our stay. There is plenty of off-street parking & the beach is a very short walk up the street. Several small, local shops and restaurants are within walking distance as well. The house itself is really cute. Lots of space for the four of us (we didn’t use one of the bedrooms), with plenty of extra amenities to make our stay great. Wish the weather would have been a little more cooperative so we could have enjoyed the backyard setting more. Highly recommend this adorable home!

Sean’s place was conveniently located right across from the beach. The beach was sandy and well maintained. Check in could not have been any easier due to Sean’s excellent communication. We had plenty of space and appreciated all of the considerate details (marshmallow sticks for the fire pit, chairs, extra beach towels, etc.). The house was clean, comfortable, and kid friendly. The hardest part about our stay was leaving! We will definitely be back.

Sean was super quick at responding and had no issue adding a 7th guest last minute! We were able to park and go in before 4 which was super helpful. Having laundry access was great and the beach was right across the street and visible from balcony! It was a really beautiful place.

So well appointed. It would’ve been nice to have a list of what was in the kitchen so we would’ve known what not to bring. Just a thought for the future. Aesthetically it was beautiful and well put together . There were more thoughtful touches than any other Airbnb we’ve stayed in!

Beautifully decorated and cozy home. Plenty of space for a family. Comfy beds and seating areas for lounging. Appreciate the Netflix and Other streaming subscriptions so we could entertain our little one while it was cold/raining outside. Backyard was lovely!

Perfect location, beautiful home with plenty of space for a family, group of friends, etc. Enjoyed the decor, the Alexa that allowed us to have little dance parties with our kids in the evening and stable WiFi. We all felt right at home. Even in the off season, being a short walk across the street to the beach was priceless. We all watched the sun rise over the ocean from the master bedroom. This is a memory we’ll never forget as a family. Sean was great in communicating and being flexible with us, we appreciated his understanding.

Wonderful stay on Plum Island! This house is exactly as advertised. We were there in the winter, including during a snow storm (blizzard?) and it was warm and cozy. The claw foot bathtub was amazing! Great location for beach walking (even in the snow). Sean was incredibly easy to communicate with and sent people to shovel us out as soon as the snow ended. We would go back again.

Casa del Mare is situated in a perfect spot to catch early morning beach sunrises! The first glimpse of the day will be just outside the principal bedroom and then just steps away for a closer look. Sean is a very responsive host and ready to help whenever needed. Enjoy this home- especially ideal for a family and a memorable Plum Island visit.

The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and spacious. There are so many thoughtful touches in the decor, and everything was in excellent condition. There is a great view of the ocean from the 2nd floor. The location is great - super close to the beach, and only a few minutes' drive to Newburyport. The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge is very close by and is stunning in all seasons. We had a lovely winter beach weekend here and look forward to returning.

This home exceeded our expectations! I was under the impression that it would be a lot smaller that what photos showed but boy was I wrong. So happy I reserved. We stayed for my birthday weekend and wanted to enjoy Plum Island and and relax. The home was so relaxing that we didn’t have to step out . All meals we cooked in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were so comfortable we overslept and we go to enjoy the Super Bowl on Sunday in the comfortable living room. This home was more than perfect! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this Beautiful home for my Birthday weekend!

Very clean, bright space was perfect for our winter weekend getaway. Would book again just to read in the chair in the sun room!

This place was heaven on earth, when we needed a relaxing break during winter holidays. We visited as a family of four and the house was perfect for the needs of us and our two small kids (4 & 6) lots of space, very comfortable and every utensil / amenity needed. Loved the seaside Christmas decor and stockings, and the smart TVs gave us plenty to watch as we relaxed in the evenings. The area is beautiful and well located, hope to return in the summer!

A charming cottage with great access to the beach. Conveniently located to Newburyport for dining and a number of local establishments for food and cocktails. All in all a great experience.

We had a great time staying at this house. Had four adults and four kids ranging in age from 7 months to 8 years. House was very clean, recently updated, plenty of space for us to spread out and great location. Steps to the beach. Amazingly convenient. House had a great layout for our families. Loved that all the rooms had black out shades if needed. This was very helpful with ensuring my kids got enough sleep and did not turn into vacation monsters. Kitchen was well appointed which allowed us to cook some meals at home or go out. Few cute places to eat or takeout on PI plus downtown Newburyport a very short drive away. Bikeable if you bring bikes. Kids and adults all had a great time. Would definitely go back. Host was very responsive to any questions.

Awesome location and just steps to the beach. The house is super cute and comfortable with a large kitchen and many places to sit and relax. Sean is very responsive and even the owner was super responsive to a broken lock while we were there. The pictures and description are exactly as shown. We hope to be back soon.

Super cute cottage for a quick get away with the family - had literally everything in the kitchen your could imagine. Sean kindly dropped off some wood so the kids could roast marshmallows in the backyard, much appreciated ! Easy walk to the beach, corner store and ice cream. You must try Bobs Lobster and the ice cream shop - both are so worth it !

Sean was welcoming and responsive in his communication. The house is just as described in a fantastic location, steps away from a beautiful and uncrowded beach. Easy walking access to a general store, and a couple of good restaurants, and of course all of Newburyport is a short drive away. The home is very clean, and has a nice backyard with a picnic table and charcoal grill. I highly recommend Sean's place on Plum Island.

Sean's house is beautiful, well- adorned, extremely close to the beach, and comfortable for 5-6 people. Being close to the beach and some of the local eateries and shops was a plus... we definitely would come back.

Plum island is special place to stay. Beaches, sanctuary, sand dunes, marine life - all of these we walked or biked from our awesome airbnb, which, we got lucky, is dog friendly as well as other pluses like location, cleanliness, breakfast island for meals was ideal, fenced backyard for a little sunset grill. Sean is kind, thoughtful and quick ! Great host, we will be back!
