It was just what we wanted, a quiet getaway by the beach. It was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend it to any couple looking for an affordable beach getaway.

The place was very clean. It had everything we needed ,made for a very easy visit. We really enjoyed it. I do believe I had an issue with the lock because I tried to get in five minutes early to use the restroom. That was my own fault. When I called the contact number somebody called me right back ,worked everything out, really was just very smooth. I will definitely continue to use Airbnb from now on.

The apartment was very homey, clean and comfortable. Lots of thought into the amenities. Sean was very helpful and responsive through the entire trip. Very close to the beach and the downtown area. It’s a small unit, probably best for 2 people, but it was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything you could need and there were even beach chairs and coolers to borrow for the beach. The host was responsive and always checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

Highly recommend! The location is AMAZING, the accommodations were wonderful and everything was very clear. The host provided so much information that I never had any questions to ask cause Sean already provided instructions on how to handle it. This is a perfect location if you want to experience NH and MA in one visit.

It is hard to find places to stay at the beach (and so close to everything) at the last minute! We only needed one overnight, and we were lucky to find this apartment to stay in just weeks before. It provided a home base for a day of cycling (to Newburyport, local trails) and also for listening to music, enjoying the beach and watching fireworks at night. Nothing like an unobstructed view of fireworks, on a beach (providing background music of the waves!) Thank you for a clean, peaceful, comfortable stay. Bed, shower, kitchen- all great!

This location was everything we needed and more! The unit is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach which was definitely part of the convenience. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely recommend this stay and we’ll be back ourselves!

Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet und man hat alles vorgefunden, was man braucht!! Zum Strand hat man zu Fuß 5 Minuten gebraucht. Mit Kind war es wirklich prima - es gab ein separates Schlafzimmer, zu Fuß war alles nötige erreichbar. Lebensmittel Laden, ein paar Restaurants, meilenweiter Strand! Die Kommunikation war immer super. Wir bedanken uns! Gerne wieder!

We loved our stay - right across from the beach, cozy apartment, comfy bed. Was a great spot to easily access restaurants and activities. Highly recommend the Groundswell cafe down the street for breakfast!

Overall it was a great stay. We really liked that although it’s a small apartment it had all that we needed. Short walk to the beach, 10 minute drive to Hampton beach, 30 minute drive to water country, great ocean view restaurants and so on. We wished the stand up shower was a bit bigger as it is very small, but we managed. Overall we were satisfied with the place and recommend it. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The location was walkable to the arcade and the beach, and the host provided beach chairs, some toys, and a beach cart which made it even easier. Cute decor in the beach cottage. There is a small backyard with a grill and some yard games. The kitchen was also well stocked and had everything we needed. The property manager was communicative and proactively checked in, though we found we had everything needed.

Sean’s basement unit was very clean and well stocked. We loved the close location to the beach. The unit is tastefully decorated in beach decor. The check in process and communication was very easy and thorough.

Sean’s place is an impeccably clean, comfortable stay. The unit has everything you could need to cook and cocktail. Already stocked with spices and coffee. Beach access is right across the street, and it is short walking distance to the center of town where all the fun festivities happen. Best of all, it is a peaceful quiet unit. Sean is an attentive host and I would absolutely love to rent from him again.

Was able to book this clean, charming place for Memorial Day weekend. Loved the decor and it had everything we needed. Felt right at home. The location enabled us to walk everywhere. We rode our ebikes to Hampton Beach. Would definitely stay here again! The communication was outstanding! Thank you!!

I don’t even know where to start or if I can post photos to prove how repulsive this place was. You think you walk up to the front door which is boarded up with plywood, but it’s actually two basement units split up with hardly any parking. We ended up having to leave early because it was disgusting, smelled like fish, had spiders, flies and bugs all over, the dishes were all dirty, the ceiling needs replastering. It feels like a crappy myrtle beach hotel. The fact that they charged me $500 for this and we had to book a clean place for our second night and have only been refunded $175 back should tell you everything. Took a shower and human hair on the CEILING! It’s a disgusting nightmare and probably full of mold.

This place is okay, the space was clean just needs some tlc and a way to ventilate. The microwave didn’t work so any type of cooking just filled the space. Sheets and towels were nice and clean. The owner was having new floors placed that we were told about prior to our stay but we were told it would be only during the daytime. For both days, the project was happening well past 630pm. For the amount that we paid to stay here I wish we would have known sooner because we would have stayed somewhere else. When they offered a one night refund I was grateful but they only refunded a portion of a one night stay. I have never left a bad review in my 6 years on Airbnb but this was my worst experience yet. Again it was clean and safe just very bad communication

Overall it was a great place to stay at. One of the main issues was that the description said there was a TV with cable but the TV did not work. After texting Sean about it, he said he knew about the problem but the problem was not fixed. If you're looking for a place for a weekend getaway for two, this is a great spot. Great restaurants are within walking distance, the beach is right across the street, and Newburyport is a 10 minute drive.

Very nice little place in a great location close to the beach access and the boardwalk. Would strongly recommend to any couples. Sean was very responsive to any issues that came up. Just a quick note to those traveling with little ones. You can lock the door to prevent people from outside getting in but there is no way to lock it to prevent people inside from getting out. The latch doorknob is extremely easy for a toddler to open, we wound up having to put kitchen chairs in front of both the entrance door and the door to the storage room. The master bedroom is also very tight if you are trying to put in an air mattress or pack n play. More than likely you will need to put it in the closet. However, be careful how you place it since if the closet door is open too wide you will be unable to shut the door to the bedroom. We made it work and I'm sure most people can but things that would have been nice to know going in.

C'est un logement que nous avons trouvé propre, fonctionnel, très bien placé avec un accès à la plage et proche du centre. Nous avons apprécié la qualité des échanges concernant l'accès au logement et la réactivité de l'hôte quand nous avions besoin d'informations. Le logement est très bien équipé, surtout au niveau de la cuisine et les équipements de plage mis à disposition. C'est à mon sens un logement pour manger et dormir après une journée dehors. Je voudrais quand même fournir des informations que j'aurais aimé lire avant de réserver: - le logement est situé à mi sous-sol donc peu de lumière naturelle et assez humide, nous avons fait fonctionner la climatisation régulièrement pour deshumidifier - le lave linge est gratuit, en revanche prévoir 1 dollar en pièces de 25 cents pour faire fonctionner le sèche linge. L'utilisation du sèche linge est indispensable car le logement étant humide, serviettes et maillots de bains ne sèchent pas dans la nuit - logement assez bruyant avec la r

I really enjoyed my time at Sean's. It was a good break from the city. The neighborhood was more run down than I was expecting, but I would happily stay there again because it is so close to the beach and public transportation is accessible (weather permitting) if you don't have a vehicle. It sounded like there is a large dog upstairs but I didn't find it bothersome just noticeable (some scratching and barking). It is a beautiful place for one or two people and I definitely recommend it!

We loved our stay and the great communication from Sean. It is small, but great for a couple for 4 nights. The only consideration is the height of the structural ceiling beams. My partner is 6’4” and had to watch his head. This place is perfect for people who aren’t extra tall!

We had a lovely stay! The place was just as advertised and immaculate.Sean and his team were quick to respond anytime i reached out and very friendly. Also, unexpectedly had an abundance of nice natural light for a basement apartment. Its a very quick walk to the ocean, restaurants, bars, and other amenities. Overall tens across the board!

This place is very nice and clean. Easy to access the beach

For a group of three friends visiting from Philly, this was great!! We needed a place to stay for a wedding nearby, and this suited us perfectly! Two of us slept in the bedroom while the third slept on the couch in the living room. It is not a large place, but it is very impressive how well the space is utilized - it actually feels surprisingly spacious! It is beautifully decorated, and the location is wonderful for taking walks to the beach. It was a short drive to Newburyport, where we had a wonderful time walking around in the little shops and getting brunch at the Paddle Inn! We also really enjoyed the Changing Tides coffee shop, and went there twice in the few days we were here! We dropped in at a CrossFit gym nearby (CrossFit Full Potential) and were also thankful to have a CVS so close as well. Newburyport also has a train station that you can take directly to Salem. All in all, I definitely recommend staying here and hope for the opportunity to come back! Sean was so helpful and responsive- before, during and even after our trip! We met the owner Chris while we were there, and he was so friendly and accommodating.

We loved the proximity of the the place to the ocean! It was wonderful getting out of our car and hearing the waves crashing along the shoreline. The place was very clean.

This place is very sweet by the water and a very summery city spot. I’d suggest it if you like stargazing on the beach at night.

Great location! We literally parked the car on Friday and didn’t get back in till we left! Walked to all destinations; Beach, stores and restaurants! The house was very clean.. so clean they were still cleaning when we arrived at check In time. Chris, the owner, was very welcoming and accommodating! Although we didn’t use the patio or yard (complete with tables, grill and yard games) it was set up beautifully! Only niche was 2am Sunday morning when the occupants in #2 forgot the code to the outer door and thought we locked them out. I was happy for the double security. Overall, Great place! Great location and we hope to come back! Thank you!

The apartment was quaint and cute with nice decore, but I couldn’t help but notice a mildewy smell upon arrival. It was covered up with heavy cleaners but the scent was still there, the strongest being the bathroom. Regulardless, I loved the location and easy beach access! I also was told the place wasn’t pet friendly but when we got there the neighbors in the next door apartment had a dog. It was a little bit upsetting.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Salisbury. It is in an awesome location, within walking distance to the beach. The inside is extremely clean, decorated nicely, and has all the things you need while you stay. The owner is very nice, gave us recommendations on places to eat while we were there, and let our daughter use the sand toys that were there. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return.

Decent place to stay! Small, but quaint and comfortable. Very clean! There was just about all that you needed! Even a beach wagon to put your beach stuff in. I just wish the public access to the beach was a bit closer, though. Otherwise, it was a great vacation!

Very nice rental unit in a great location. Nicely "beach" decorated and absolutely spotless upon arrival. Great communication from rental management company and very easy checkin with self actuated smart locks. Would highly recommend and will certainly come back again ourselves. Ideal for couple but can accommodate a few more on sleeper sofa. Fast internet and good amenities with excellent kitchen/dining housewares.

The house is clean, looks as advertised, and is decorated nicely. The beach access was very close (.1 mile), and the beach is always pretty. We walked to Seaglass and enjoyed all sorts of lobster dishes and oysters. Although it is cute, it is a basement apartment. There is nice light coming from 2 front and 2 side windows, so it presents well. There are 4 outdoor chairs on the side of the house to relax. Having a washer was convenient. The shower is on the shorter side, but I can overlook that if it's clean, which it was. If you plan to use the sofa sleeper, it was not the easiest to sleep on as my feet were higher than my head. I am not very picky in regards to mattresses, but it was a little tough, hence 4 stars instead of 5. If you only need the queen bed, you're good to go. Easy check-in, and easy communication.

Place was very clean upon arrival. Close to downtown area and beach access. Check in and check out very smooth. TV didn’t work our first night and they went above and beyond to fix the issue. Will definitely keep in mind for future visits! Would suggest going to downtown Newburyport to check that area out as well!
