We had a very poor experience. First off, I asked as soon as we booked about an early check in given we had a toddler who needed to nap. The host responded that he would let us know day of. Then when I messaged day of, I was directed to pay a fee which hadn't been mentioned before, and told the possibility would be communicated to me shortly, after which they never followed up leaving us in limbo. After checking in things got much worse- this place is in desperate need of some TLC as there are stains all over the carpet, a broken towel rack, plastic veneer "tile" popping off, etc. The fridge was also off which was not ideal relative to having to store milk etc, and worst of all...there were a ton of ladybugs and a handful of wasps flying around. When I asked about this, I was basically instructed to check for gaps (as if I should repair them myself?) - they didn't come and try to do anything about it. They finally offered to move us but it was too late as our kid was sleeping.
Good place
We loved staying here! It was a great, peaceful location, and the room decor was so cute. Highly recommend!
Adorable place! It was perfect for our night’s stay in VT. Great location! Chris was very responsive and helpful from booking to check-out! This was a nice find!
Chris was a pleasure to work with. Accurate and attentive. The apartment was exactly as described with clear accurate direction on how to park and enter. Thank you for an easy and enjoyable stay.
Overall a nice place. Good spot for mountain biking. This location is close to many trail systems. Chris was very responsive and helpful. The main issue I had with this stay is that I felt very pressured to leave a five star review. For example, there is a star rating definition document in the Airbnb which defined what each star means and explains the impact of bad reviews. This made me feel like there was discouragement of leaving an honest review. Something that was a little strange is that they call it an inn but ask you to clean up (take out the garbage, etc) while charging you a cleaning fee.
Clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The hosts work hard to make sure everything runs smooth.
excellent location for Killington-skiing - Chris and team are great hosts.
We had a great stay. Chris was very attentive and helpful. Comfortable beds , nice decor, perfect for a two day ski trip. Would stay here again
Very communicative and awesome place to stay at for the price
Good
Great place, clean and convenient, a little expensive.
We had a great stay at Chris’s Airbnb! On our first night, we got caught in a winter storm after skiing in Killington and while our friends’ Airbnb’s lost power and water, we came back to our cozy Airbnb with shoveled driveways and staircases. Would love to stay again on our next ski trip to Vermont!
Very cozy
Chris and his team did an excellent job communicating with us and making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
Great stay. Thanks for everything.
Chris’s place was clean, quiet and comfortable! A perfect place for us to stay for the night!
Chris's place was an affordable location within a 40-min drive to Hanover, Norwich, Quechee, and Woodstock. It's a great base-of- operations for exploring the Fall Foliage.
We love the place
The location was perfect for getting around the different areas we wanted to see. Spacious, clean, comfortable room with plenty of towels. The host was extremely quick with communication, even at night and quickly offered solutions when needed.
Chris’s place was pretty nice for a weekend getaway.
It was super clean and felt like home
I enjoyed my stay here, it was clean and nice, easy to check in and host was respectful.
it was great
It was perfect for what my family needed for one night.
This was the first Airbnb we have ever booked and it was a great experience. Pictures and descriptions of the property are accurate. Everything is exactly what we expected. Chris is responsive and it is clear that he cares about his guests experience from booking to check out. Thank you, Chris! We look forward to staying with you again.
Chris was extremely responsive and made our last minute trip an enjoyable getaway. Very easy to access and great walking nearby.
Its ok, but would not stay here again.
very quiet place
This location was convenient to South Woodstock, and located on a main road which worked out well for us.
A great place to stay. A bit of confusion finding which room we were in, but they responded so quickly and well. The lack of kitchen was a bit tough for us, but the space worked just great. The location is right in a beautiful area and I had great time!
We enjoyed our stay! The instruction/website is super informative and easy to follow. The host is extremely helpful and responsive. Look forward to coming back in next snow season!
Room was exactly as described. Host is very proactive with communication and quickly responds to any questions. Its very conveniently located between Woodstock and Killington. I would stay again and recommend to others.
Great place easy to find and nice and clean
Perfect place to stay for a ski weekend! Close to mountains and had everything we needed. Chris was also very responsive and helpful with questions.
For a short trip this was a perfect place to stay! Just minutes away from the mountain, multiple food options minutes away, easy access, and a very good host.
Nice and clean. Super convenient to Killington. Easy checkin and checkout. Heating systems works efficiently. Nice stay for skiing.
The place is exactly as pictured and described, beautiful area, cozy inside. Perfect place to stay after a day of skiing. About 15 minutes from Killington, we had a great time on the mountain and enjoyed some nearby restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again when I come back to Killington for another weekend trip.
.
Easy self check-in, comfortable room. Chris was quick to reply to questions.
Great spot! We were in Ski VT room during the Fall. Super easy to get in and out of, and I liked that our room was a little separate from the house with the other rooms, it felt more cozy and secluded. Loved getting to use the fire pit- would recommend if you stay here. Great view from the front door! The room itself is like a pretty average guest room, and very clean. If you're wanting to stay in Woodstock I think this is a pretty great location. We traveled all over the place, but Woodstock was a short 10-25 minute drive (depending on where in Woodstock) on a BEAUTIFUL road, so we never cared that we had to drive. All in all, I think it's a pretty good spot and would go back.
This place was very cute and exceeded our expectations! Chris always responded right away when I had questions! Very cute and quaint place! Highly recommend!
Nice location and Chris communicated with me on point.
amazing stay!
Great location and the VT Ski Suite is very spacious.
Clean reasonable and responsive host
we had a lovely stay at the Bridgewater inn. we had a wedding in Woodstock and it was less than 10 minute drive away! the location was perfect, beds were super comfy and it had all the amenities you'd need. house was very clean, plenty of towels, coffee, etc. would absolutely stay again!
Exactly as advertised, Chris is a great communicator!
Location is very close to the Killington mountain base area, it was really 10 min drive to the very base area and another 10 min ride to the K1 lodge. It was convenient.
Would recommend for a weekend trip to Killington
The unit was a perfect place to sleep and rest for our ski trip at Killington! Chris was a very helpful + responsive host throughout our stay. The only warning is our group bumped our heads against the ceilings a few times -- but after we requested some additional lamps from Chris to better see the slope of the ceiling, it was less of a problem. Overall really enjoyed our time here!
We had a great experience staying here for a weekend of skiing at Killington & Pico. Great location and was super easy to find. Would definitely stay here again for a weekend trip to VT. We also got 6-8 inches of snow overnight and the driveway was plowed in the morning and the stairs up to our unit were shoveled which was really helpful and made it easier to check-out in the morning.
The location was nice, close to everything. The self-check in was easy and room comfortable with standard equipment we needed.
We had to leave the Airbnb we were at after one day due to a scheduling mixup and booked with Chris at the last moment. I booked it at 1 pm and told him we would not arrive until after midnight. He sent clear instructions and upon arrival the code for the door did not work. I texted him at 12:30am to say we needed help and he responded right away. He was very helpful and apologetic about the door code not working. Thanks again Chris. I will stay again when in the area.
This was my first visit to Vermont. This Airbnb was very cozy and comfortable. I’m already planning to make another visit this winter!
Had a wonderful time at Chris Place, near everything I wanted for the weekend
Ended up booking a last minute trip and was so lovely to stay at The Bridgewater Inn! It was cozy, comfortable, and super close to Woodstock.
Cozy, yet larger than I was expecting, and check-in was super easy. Chris provided plenty of amenities that were nice to have after booking on such short notice. Would definitely stay again!
Thanks for having us during the weekend! It was great!
everything is as listed
perfect for our stay while skiing in Killington! very comfortable, spacious and private. super easy to check in. highly recommend and would book again!
