Had a great time at The Anchor. Sunset was beautiful over the marsh. Loved the tall ceilings and beautiful light that came through the skylights in the morning. It was a lovely escape from the city.

My wife & i are from the area & we had my sister & brother-in-law come up from Pennsylvania for a long weekend & wanted to spoil them. The place was well thought out for your guests & we needed for nothing. We really hate to say anything negative because it was a great time. The only thing would be the size of the beds & the sofa should be replaced we needed to put a few pillows underneath to not sink in so much. But we would definitely recommend anything Sean has to offer, he really does think of everything!! Thank you again. The Brolin's

Hidden gem tucked just off of busy beach blvd. Super quite private and comfortable with all of the supplies for a nice meal with friends. Impeccably clean!! Well stocked with essentials plus did I mention clean! 😂 Plenty of towels. Everything worked well and we were super comfortable. Great coffee supplies too. Definitely a 5 star rental in every way!!

Worst experience ever!! Got stuck in deep gravel in driveway! Host never helped us. Acted like it was our fault! Neighbors helped and reported this happens a lot! Airbnb did nothing for us. Sided with host. Car was damaged. 16 hrs stuck!! Stay away!!

We went to Hampton to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday. The home was absolutely perfect for me (mom) and 3 boys. The boys were sad to leave. Everything was just as described . Super clean, enough towels, and plenty of space. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house! I loved the back porch and got to see some magnificent sunsets, beach access was within a 5 minute walk and arcades, food, and fun everywhere. Thank you Sean for being an incredible host

Perfect Stay! Booked The Anchor for a quick one-night getaway, and it absolutely delivered. The place was spotless, clean from top to bottom — not a single complaint. The location is perfect, and the sunset view from the house was unreal. Couldn’t have asked for a better setup. An awesome place to stay in Hampton Beach if you want to be “close to it” but not “in the middle of it”. Proximity to everything was excellent! We will stay there again most definitely!

Beautiful, immaculate and peaceful. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, plenty of linens and spotless bathrooms.

We loved it! It was a quick weekend, I graduated from Snhu on Saturday. It was a nice drive from Boston and onto Manchester. We explored up and down the coast with what little time we had. Loves having coffee and watching ducks on the marsh. Flamingo's Coffee Bar is a must stop, great coffee, sandwiches and the staff were amazing. Also read the story of the owner and how she dealt with a negative review and turned it into a positive. The house has the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and we loved the comfy couch. The house hands down is perfect, perfect layout & perfect location, you would not be bored staying here. The only negative is that at 1 am and pouring rain it was hard to locate. I did not see the street is one way, then when I got that straight it was hard to see the house tucked back behind the other buildings.

This was an excellent stay! The house was easy enough to access, the space was modern and clean, and it offered beautiful sights. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful house and great views! The only complaint was the gravel where you park. We had a 4x4 jeep, but our Instacart driver got stuck in the driveway and had to be towed. He had a sedan with front wheel drive.

Les lits étaient très confortables et nous y avons dormi comme des loirs. Les photos représentent avec exactitude la maison louée. Nul ne peut se dire déçu en y arrivant. Nous avons même choisi d’y passer nos soirées plutôt que de sortir au restaurant, tant nous y étions bien. Dès que nous avions une question, nous écrivions à Sean et la réponse venait très rapidement. C’est là un hôte très réactif, qui veut nous aider, soit pour nous offrir des suggestions, pour offrir une réponse à une question anodine, ou même nous aider à distance avec le réglage du chauffage, en nous envoyant même une vidéo qui a fait en sorte que nous avons pu régler le chauffage sans que personne n’ait à se déplacer. Nous retournerions assurément dans cette maison qui a une vue spectaculaire sur le marais, une jolie terrasse meublée et toutes les commodités nécessaires. Merci!

This home does not disappoint! The home is beautiful, modern and very clean. Sean was an excellent host. He proactively communicated and his response time was fast! He was also very friendly. The beds are very comfortable, very clean linens, and the modern kitchen had just enough amenities to make it easy when preparing food. We enjoyed coffee on the deck outside with a lovely view of the marsh! Bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Washer/dryer was a plus! The overall location of Hampton Beach is so nice because you are close to places like Ogunquit, ME and Boston, each was an easy day trip. The town of Hampton had some excellent restaurants. Portsmouth is very close and a really fun town to shop in and great places to eat. The beach is also very close to the house and we walked down to it everyday to enjoy its beauty! I would absolutely stay at Sean's house again!

It's a great spot in a perfect location. Easy parking and easy to get all around the area. It's a very cute house--very different than the surrounding buildings. Stayed with two kids and they loved it, too.

Gorgeous and modern! My sisters and I enjoyed the quieter location with easy walkability to the beach, shops and restaurants. We watched the sunsets from the deck each night. Sean answered questions immediately and checked in several times during our stay.

Our stay at Sean’s place was great. The house was beautiful and located in a great spot. The house was close enough to everything but secluded just enough for a little privacy. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this place to other people.

What a beautiful place to stay! I had the most enjoyable week. The house is beautiful,clean and comfy. Sitting out on the back deck with my coffee in the morning and tea in the evening enjoying all the birds over the marsh was my favorite! Walking over to the beach was dreamy. The Anchor house is one of those Airbnb's you won't be able to forget. This is not one of your regular Hampton Beach places to stay, but rather a high end home tucked away between all of your average joes. It's a gem !! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was clean as a whistle, and it has a great shower. We didn't want to leave. It is surprisingly quiet, sitting at the edge of a marsh and really peaceful on the deck watching amazing sunsets and the egrets, herons and ducks searching for their last catch of the day. Architecturally it is beautiful and the clean simplicity is inspiring. It is steps from the beach and you can take long walks down Ocean Blvd. and swim to your heart's content. Seriously, do yourself a favor and reserve Anchor house. You'll make great memories there. Sean was friendly and caring and helped us feel at home. We can't wait to go back!!

If you're visiting the Portsmouth / Hampton / Dover / Durham area, stay here. Stop searching AirBnB for the options in the area, this is by far the #1 choice in the entire area. Take me at my word, we were all excited to get to a second AirBnB in Portsmouth and we were DISAPPOINTED. BIG TIME. This place was wonderful - new, clean, accessible, parking by the door, great amenities, I can't say enough good things. Sean was an amazing host - so friendly and kind! He was the kinda guy you just want to be friends with because he is so lovely. I can't say enough good things about this AirBnB. You're a 10 minute drive from Portsmouth, it's worth it!

The house was great and the company was very communicative. We had an issue that we immediately let them know about and the company was very quick to respond. If you are coming to this house in the winter, bring a 4WD vehicle as the plows tend to pile snow at the end of the driveway. We happened to go on a weekend that was extremely cold (10 degrees and a wind chill of probably -10) so the giant glass windows/door to the deck did not work in our favor. During the warmer months, the windows and deck must be amazing though! We liked that the master bedroom is sort of a loft. The staircase also has lights built in which is something we fell in love with! You can log into streaming services (Netflix, hulu) on the television which is great for background noise or entertainment. This is probably perfect for a week or weekend by the beach.

My second stay here, and just as lovely as the first! Sean was super responsive and helpful with extending my stay and answering questions. The location is perfect: far enough up the strip that it’s more scenic than touristy (although in winter that’s far less a consideration) but still central to all you could want to visit and do. Gorgeous view of the marshes—made sure to bring my binoculars and check out the egrets and sparrows!
