The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, November 2025

The house was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, a short drive easy to Woodstock and just a scenic drive away from Stowe. We spent a day doing a self-guided cheese trail around the area, which was so much fun and convenient from this home base and to enjoy our findings back at the Inn. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially during check-in. Another highlight was having Long Trail Brewery just a mile down the road — great food, great beer, and beautiful views along the river. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the best of Vermont’s charm, food, and scenery!

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s a great spot if you want to hang out in Woodstock or head to Killington. Our 2-year-old loved all the toys in the game room — I’m not sure we even brought out the toys we took from home. Great communication from the host from start to finish. Would recommend this spot!

What a lovely home in a perfect Vermont location! Just 20 minutes from both Woodstock (check out the amazing Woodstock Athletic Club) and Killington, this place couldn’t be more convenient. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and cozy—everything we hoped for and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, October 2025

This home was such a special find. It felt both fun and peaceful, with wide open spaces for the kids to play and plenty of privacy for us to unwind. The dining table became our gathering spot. Big enough for everyone to share meals and laughter. The style and decor had a playful, artistic charm: pink accents woven between ski and snowboard themed neon lights, cozy cushioned corners, and little nooks that invited you to curl up with a book or just relax. It struck the perfect balance between lively and serene. Our host was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making sure our stay was smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a family friendly getaway with character and heart, this is it.

定房时没注意看房屋已有近200年历史。虽经过整理但整体老旧昏暗。地板满是裂纹,壁柜内也不干净。好在床较干净且有中央空调。

What a super charming and beautiful home away from home nestled in Vermont. We found the home so cozy and full of warmth & great detailed decor. The beds were super comfortable, as well as the couches. Loved the game room. I couldn’t seem to peel my husband away from Pac Man! Would definitely stay again! Cheers !

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2025

We had a great 2 night stay at bridgewater inn. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The location was great for Woodstock and surrounding area. If you have children there is a great game room and a huge kitchen to prepare and eat your meals. The host Chris, was very helpful and always replied in a timely manner.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, July 2025

This was a great “ski house” for a family - plenty of space and great location for skiing. We spent one day at Saskadena and one day at Quechee. And two of us were able to x-country ski at Woodstock Nordic center. We had a few glitches that were resolved quickly. I would recommend it to a family or group of friends.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, January 2025

Great place, very spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms were big, two king size bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We spent the weekend at Killington, so the location was great, a quick 20min drive to the mountain.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, December 2024

Chris’ house is a dream. It has three whole bathrooms and three big bedroom. They are gorgeous and big and convenient and there are so many windows that you can see all around. There is a game room and what can I say about the kitchen. So much space and everything you could ever need to prepare a meal and make coffee. There’s a super comfortable sofa in front of a fireplace. The sorroundings are so beautiful. The river river is right across the street and the Woodstock farmers market is a very short distance by car. I have rented many places thru AirB&B and there has never been a host that answers as fast as Chris, this is very convenient if you need someone as soon as possible so A+ host. I don’t know what else to say except that I hope we can come back to Chris’ place soon!!

Enjoyed our stay at the Bridgewater Inn — it was conveniently located, cozy, and the rooms were as described in the listing. Chris was also prompt and thoughtful about communicating before and during our stay. Great spot for a Vermont getaway with family and/or friends!

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, November 2024

It’s a nice place to stay. They have a lot of board games, kitchen utensils and seasonings, coffee, etc. unfortunately we arrived late at night and so tired, therefore we cannot fully optimize the game room.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, November 2024

Our stay at Chris’s / the Bridgewater Inn was fantastic! A group of girls and I went up to do some fall leaf peeping and visit some farms in the Woodstock area. Chris was super responsive, kind and accommodating. You can tell the home has history! Check-in was easy via the smart lock and the home was clean. It is in a very convenient location. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay at a gorgeous and charming home in the Woodstock area. Woodstock in the fall is absolutely breathtaking!

Quaint Inn in a great location. Kids loved the game room. The bed in the master was very comfy. Little extras like coffee and hot cocoa were a nice touch.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

Nice place, very spacious and clean, and the kids room with toys was great. On a busy road but plenty quiet and a good location for access to Woodstock, Killington, etc. Felt private enough despite there being other units attached to house. Communication was good.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

The pictures look better than what the actual state of the property is. The property looks like it was previously a B&B that has fallen in a bit in disuse and disrepair on the outside, and just ok enough on the inside to make it rentable. Lots of peculiarities on the inside that were not of our liking, like no bathroom doors on the in-suites, bedroom doors that only locked from the outside, and unfinished walls in some of the rooms. We also had to clean the kitchen, the pots and utensils to ready them for use as they were not thoroughly clean when we arrived. I would'nt choose to stay here again.

Omar C.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

it was just what we expected in all respects -- well maintained and very up to date. The only drawback is that Vermont Route 4 is fairly close and has moderate traffic including some trucks but the speed limit is 30, which makes it safe. Otherwise it was lovely, in a great location for all outdoor activities in all seasons and overall a great stay.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

We were in town for a horse show. Many of our fellow riders had absolutely terrible things to say about their Airbnb, but the Bridgewater Inn and Chris not only met expectations but exceeded. The house was clean, good parking, very spacious and no house issues that needed to be solved. Chris was very communicative and as soon as I messaged him, he responded right away. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

My stay at the Bridgewater Inn, hosted by Chris, was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Chris's thoughtfulness and dedication to his guests' comfort were unmatched. The accommodations were spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Chris has gone above and beyond to ensure that every detail is perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the thoughtful touches throughout the property made a significant difference in our overall experience. Whether it was the well-stocked kitchen, the informative guidebooks, or the little extras that showed his genuine care, Chris's attention to detail was impeccable. My wife, who has stayed in numerous Airbnbs, considers our stay at the Bridgewater Inn her best Airbnb experience so far. Chris's warm hospitality and thoughtful gestures made our stay truly unforgettable.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

Our stay at the Bridgewater Inn was great. The place was very spacious and had more than enough room for the 6 of us. The game rooms, large kitchen, living room and fireplace all felt cozy and helped us recover and spend time with each other after long days on the slopes. Chris and team were also very responsive for any questions and made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2024

Chris’s Airbnb was great for our ski trip at Killington - about a 15 min drive away from the house. The home was very spacious - great for our group of four and our dog. The house had everything we needed for our weekend trip! Chris was a responsive and friendly host as well.

Hanna Y.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, April 2024

Great place to stay we all loved it! 20 min drive to K-1 lift and house was very spacious!

Ryan S.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, March 2024

Chris is a fantastic host and quick to respond to any request. Overall, the house is very convenient to skiing at Killington, which was the main reason for our stay. A few things that we pointed out to Chris re cleanliness of the house were addressed, such as the refrigerator, oven, and shelving unit in the master bedroom. We also had a small ant problem in the kitchen, which was also addressed. The carpet in certain locations has stains. There was also a bit of a parking problem, but Chris was able to square that away as well. One other point, the house is on a main road so you do hear the cars going by at all hours. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, February 2024

The Bridgewater Inn was exactly as described. Although there was a slight sewage smell from the basement, it was perfect for my group of friends and I. Great location with restaurants near by and close to killington ski mountain. The guest houses were being rented at the same time and there was still plenty of room in the driveway and our privacy was never interrupted. I would stay here again.

Nicholas M.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, February 2024

Spacious house. Great location for skiing. Very close to resort. Chris communicated frequently to make sure everything was good. We enjoyed our stay there.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, November 2023

Great place for a family or group of friends. Plenty of space and comfortable. You won’t have to worry about the kids breaking anything, it seems ‘family-proofed’ We stayed three nights but didn’t spend a lot of time in the house, we didn’t cook or use much except for the bedrooms. We were out and about a lot. This would be a great ski house. Lots of suave for people and their gear. Easy parking and a quick ride to Woodstock.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2023

Great place, lovely and super clean. Highly recommend it for a relaxing vacation. Thank you for being flexible in checking in and checking out, Chris!

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, September 2023

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The home was spacious and very child-friendly with two bonus playrooms that worked very well for our two families that traveled together with two toddlers and a 6 mo baby. The little tent in the kids room was perfect for story time as well and the king beds were great for the parents. Loved it here! We would love to be back!

Radhika V.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, August 2023

Chris’ place is lovely. We stayed at his place for a week & participated a a horse clinic at GMHA. Perfectly located & the house was very clean. The only criticism we have is that the kitchen is dated. To feed six athletes, things are a little older, so a bit clunky. Otherwise, everything was perfect! We loved the games and we even grilled!!!

Sarah G.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, July 2023

Flexible checkin and comfortable space. My daughter loved the books and toy space, which was a pleasant surprise. I asked for early checkin and they accommodated. The location was a reasonable drive to gmha. Thank you!!

Rachel R.

The House @ The Bridgewater Inn, July 2023

Chris is an awesome host. And the house is beautiful as well. Chris was very responsive & made sure we were able to checkin and settle in well. Provided good local recommendations of places to eat & things to do. The house is a beautiful inn, great location. We loved the game room. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the toys as well as board games. There was something to do for all ages - PS4, foosball table, board games, books. Next to Woodstock & close to Killington ski resort. Highly recommended. We’ll visit again next time we are in the area
