Wishbone was great for our family of 7. The location is perfect for us, midway between the ocean and the basin. We kayak in the basin and the kids love the easy access to the beach. Yhe kitchen was well equipped and the patio was great for bbq. A lovely week on Plum Island.

Perfect beach stay! We loved every minute of our stay at Wishbone. The beach was lovely and just a walk across the street. The house was great for our family of 3. Our son loved the toys provided, and we spent many days on the porch, taking walks and enjoying the sand. I should have brought a baby gate for the stairs, for our curious 2 year old but that’s my own oversight. Newburyport has a lot to offer, and we loved spending time there as well. The best bonus was being able to bring our pup. The house was very clean when we arrived and we found the accommodations comfortable. Overall would definitely recommend Sean’s place again, and we can’t wait to come back to plum island!

This place is a gem. We hosted family and friends all week. Cozy inside—great outdoor space. The guest cottage is cute and comfortable. Located one block from the sand—a beach lovers dream. Quiet sleepy neighborhood. We really enjoyed this cottage and will return!

Cute house right off the main road with great proximity to the more private end of the beach. The basin in the back is a nice view as well. We appreciate that this is a dog friendly location complete with dog bowls for use.

Sean’s place was a great spot for our family on spring break for a few nights while we visited Newburyport and the surrounding area. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The only complaints that we had were the coffee situation was not great but after reaching out to Sean he immediately offered to drop off a new coffee pot, he even brought a bag of coffee and cream and sugar. The rooms were comfortable, with the exception of the bed in the bedroom upstairs. The mattress in the kids room and the bunkhouse were extremely comfortable, however the mattress in the master was very hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a great stay. We didn’t do much cooking since we were there for a short time, but if you plan to be there for awhile the kitchen is minimally stocked as far as pots and pans. There are lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and my family especially loved the Angry Donut! The 3 season porch was a great spot for enjoying morning coffee!

The Wishbone was a cozy cottage in Plum Island. Two great bedrooms in the house. Ocean views from the top floor. Very clean.

The Wishbone was lovely, comfortable and charming. It was within a very easy walk to the beach. There were games, beach towels and flip flops on the porch for guests which I thought was a wonderful idea. Sean, always responded very quickly to every inquiry. A great place to stay!

We had a very quick stay, just two nights, while we visited nearby colleges with my son. It's February so it's very quiet in the area which is why we chose to stay on Plum Island. The beach was snowy and so peace. It's a very, very short walk to the beach. I imagine in the summer time, this would be a super fun place to be. We explore Newburyport for a few hours which was also fun. One thing that I discovered is that parking can be tricky but we found a great and enormous public parking lot which made exploring Newburyport much easier. Thanks Sean for all of the great communication!

This house is ideal for family stays, conveniently located near the beach. It is well-equipped, clean, and situated in a prime location. There are numerous fantastic restaurants in the area, offering nice walks, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and an excellent atmosphere. We spent a few days here for our Christmas vacation, and it was beautiful.

We stayed at one of your Rental Properties and absolutely enjoyed it and felt at home. The place was clean, organized and fully stocked with all necessary items, and had a pleasant smell. We were welcomed with “The Wishbone” welcome bag of treats, which included a nice bottle of wine. The reason for our visit was a funeral, staying at this location was relaxing, inviting and calm. After grieving with our family it was so welcoming to be in a place to relax and calm down. The wine was a nice nightcap! It was our first time renting from you and we will for sure be back hopefully on a better occasion. We will definitely recommend your Rentals to everyone. Thank you 🙏🏼

Sean was great and accommodating. Had some trouble getting in at first and locating the guest house but he got back to me right away. Would highly recommend staying here and would do so again with my family next time.

The place was great! My only complaint is that the listing said it slept 8, however, that was a little misleading. It has 2 queens, 1 full and a pull out couch. It looked larger on the listing, however, it was clean and had lots of charm! It’s a short walk from the beach which was awesome. We love plum island so it was a great spot.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the wishbone. It was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities of home. The location was perfect and access to the beach was just a short walk away. it is important to us that we can travel with our pups, so that really was a huge bonus. The Wishbone is a beautiful home and perfect for a family or group beach getaway. We loved having both the front porch and back deck for gathering and sitting outside. The first floor is spacious enough for six (or a few more) people to eat meals at the table and lounge in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for a beach weekend or week. There are extra touches everywhere - beach totes and hats to borrow, ice packs ready in the fridge, games on the screened-in porch, and a gift of a glass jar for your seashell collection. The stairs are a little steep and our dog was fearful of them. The stairs might also be challenging for older guests. The little cottage is adorable and a nice space for a couple that wants some privacy. We loved that beach access is only a short walk from the house. Seth is very responsive and he helped make our stay delightful. We loved our stay here and hope to be back next year!

Perfect place to enjoy some family time on the coast. We felt right at home, especially with all the kid friendly toys and play areas. We walked to the park every night to enjoy the sunset. Beautiful sunrises on the beach were also a treat for us early birds!

This was the perfect house for our weekend on Plum Island. We were a quick walk to the beach and a quick walk to the downtown area. Communication with the host was timely and I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response! The house itself was lovely and had everything we could need for a weekend away. We will definitely be back!!

I fell in love With WISH BONE this dog friendly (we have a service dog) Kid friendly.. Some fun toys, books and decore.. Cute well loved home. The bunk house was perfect for my oldest daughter who craves peace and quiet. I loved the kitchen with so many places to put things... and some neat cadgets..

Great location, very close walk to the beach. We appreciated the stock of kids books and kitchen amenities. There was an issue with the heat while we were there that Sean had fixed very quickly.

This home was easily walkable to the beach, which was nice with young kids. Neighborhood was quiet. Home looked like the photos. Only issue for me was the kitchen wasn’t fully stocked. I was cooking during our stay and didn’t find all I would need. If you aren’t cooking much while here, probably not an issue. Sean and co. were very responsive to my messages. I would recommend home to anyone looking at Plum Island!

The description of the house and the pictures of the house had something lost in translation. I was expecting 3 bedrooms and a cottage that was being renovated when I booked the apartment. The house has 2 bedrooms and there is a 3rd in the newly finished cottage. The pull out couch is filthy and full of stains and very uncomfortable for sleeping. These were small issues and something we overcame easily. My big concern with our stay was that we found a hat and some plane tickets from June 1st (almost 3 weeks prior to our stay) in the bed sheets of the master bed, a stained bunch of back up blankets (intended for the pull out couch), and a number of food containers and kitchen items in the kitchen that had not been washed prior to our arrival. I spent the first day rewashing all of the bedding and some towels. Seans office came and picked up the heaver blankets to wash off site, and I washed all the glasses, silverware and bowls that looked visibly dirty. No compensation was offered.

The house worked for us because we had one dog. There are no railings on any stairs going into the house. The steps going up to the second floor are very steep but does have a railing. The first floor rooms are small. Location is good, walk to the beach. There a small cabin that goes with house that is perfect for one person or two young adults and has kitchen and bathroom. We had 5 adults, 4 in house and one in cabin. Anymore would have been too crowded. Sean was very attentive and quick to respond.

Enjoyed our stay at The Wishbone. Only wish we had planned a longer one. The main house and bunkhouse were spotless and the decor lovely. Thoughtful amenities throughout the house and bunkhouse. The location is fabulous with truly easy access to the beach. Looking forward to our next stay at The Wishbone! And host was very responsive.

We can’t wait to come back to The Wishbone! The outdoor seating in the front and back were great for our group. This place is in a great location - 5 min walk to beach, 10 min drive to charming downtown Newburyport - with plenty of parking and space. For 6 people and a dog, having the main house and the bunk house was the perfect amount of space. The bedrooms were all so charming and the little touches from leaving flip flops and beach toys to a book detailing the renovation journey of this lovely spot made us feel right at home! A great beach house getaway ☺️
