Loved the view from the living room. Super easy check in process. Easy and beautiful drive down the coast to Hampton beaches/shops! Would highly recommend!

Very nice stay. Walk to the beach was maybe 10 minutes. Downtown restaurants and shops were super close. Great recommendations from the host as well. Would book again!

We greatly enjoyed our trip! The house was a good size, had all of the necessary amenities, and was in a great location. Sean was very communicative and helpful for all questions and information. There is walkable beach access and a close drive to other great towns and attractions. Would stay again!

We spent a month at Sean's place over Christmas: Pros: The location and view are outstanding Easy walk to a lovely beach and a short drive to wonderful Portsmouth Sean (host) is very responsive and addresses most of the issues quickly. It is a comfortable space, a very comfortable bed, and the view is wonderful. Cons: The apartment is very noisy - especially as there are missing ceiling panels in the laundry area with exposed water pipes so that when neighbors are taking showers, flushing toilets, and even walking around upstairs, it sounds like it is in the unit. Unfortunately, the upstairs neighbor often leaves at 3 a.m., so there is lots of stomping around and slamming of doors in the night. We did have an issue with water leaking on our luggage from the exposed pipes. the plumber was called in to fix that, and we made arrangements to move out for the night Also only 2 towels, and 1 set of sheets for a unit without laundry is not ideal.

great place, the view to die for - exactly like in the pictures! Friendly, proactive host, easy to get to, very accurate information. So why "only" four stars? few gripes: - it is an apartment in a small complex. The walls (and the ceiling) are paper thin. The first night the upstair neighbors were very active starting at 7am and I thought somebody was in. I understand that this is hard to control, but still being woken up at 7am on Saturday affects the experience. - the place is listed for 4 people, a most probable split would be 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the pull out sofa bed. While the first is very comfortable, the latter is not. We ended up pulling the mattress and sleeping on the floor. Also, while the whole apparent was very clean, somebody forgot to clean inside and under the sofa. - the area is beautiful, but rather lonely. Not easy to walk anywhere, you need a car. Not necessary a minus, but worth mentioning. Still, we had a great time, so highly recommended.

Perfect place! Excellent view of the ocean and the sunrise right from the living room! Close to shops and restaurants and a beautiful drive to Salem and to the White Mountains.

Great little place to stay! View of the ocean sitting on the couch. We had a hard time getting the split AC/heat units working because it's not what we are used to, and there is no air movement through the house, but did not take away from our trip. Portsmouth is a short drive away to alot of restaurants, as well as some down the road along the coast. You can also hear the footsteps from the upstairs unit, but again, did not take away from our trip. Sean is super responsive and helped us out when we needed him. Recommend this place!

Cleanliness was perfect. The place was spotless. Nicely decorated, comfortable furniture. Beautiful ocean view from bedroom and living room windows. Perfect location, beautiful rocky shoreline across the street and easy walk to the sandy beach. Easy access, and Sean was very helpful in providing information and checking in to ensure we had a great stay. Definitely would stay here again!

The location of this property is wonderful. Beautiful water views and very close to the beach. Communication was clear and responses were timely. The property onsite is a bit run down. I was not overly impressed upon arrival. The walls and ceilings are extremely thin and you can hear everyone in surrounding units. The TV is not 100% dependable and towels are extremely limited. I personally would not return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and exactly what was expected from the listing. We had trouble getting in with the electronic code, but Sean was so responsive, even after 1am when we arrived. We were able to get in quickly with an alternate key. The area is very peaceful. There are other units in the building and additional cabins. If we come back to the area, I will be glad to book with Seacoast Vacation Rentals again.

The best thing about this AirBnb is the view. I could watch the ocean from the couch all day. The beach was within walking distance and there were several restaurants within driving distance. The living area is a good size but we were disappointed with the bedroom. It's rather small and does not have any storage. If not for the view, the unit would be very overpriced, but I loved the view and thought it was worth the price. I would stay here again.

beautiful location, comfortable and clean.

Location of the airb&b is very nice. The view is in fact amazing. Unit is quite small but I liked the open floor plan with my son being younger it was nice to be able to always see him. Unit definitely could have been cleaner, was dusty and found what appeared to be dog hair in some areas. Host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Still no ice trays and I only noticed hand soap in the bathroom. Kitchen very minimally stocked. You can in fact hear your neighbors. Just a one minute drive to Wallis Sands Beach which we loved ($15 parking not bad). I know it was a holiday weekend but after fees I paid just over $1,000 for two nights and feel like it was very over priced. I did enjoy Rye so will be back to the area in the future.

It was easy to find, close to restaurants and the beach, the view from the living room was absolutely beautiful, and had everything that was advertised. Overall, it was incredible. Sean is a responsive host. The apartment was clean, views are great, location is walking distance to the beach. Walls are really thin - the guests upstairs woke us up at 5 just by walking around. Also pretty bare bones. Like usually there are seasonings in the kitchen, cooking oils etc but this just has disposable salt and pepper shakers and the salt is empty. No ice trays in the freezer. Also no shampoo, conditioner or shower soap, just a hand soap pump by the sink so just for future guests to realize they should pack all these products.

Sean’s place was unforgettable! . From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Sean was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Will definitely come back

Lovely little getaway! We had a great time! Perfect and clean, and so close to the beach!

Sean couldn’t have been more helpful! We had a small problem with the lock on the door due to the humidity. Sean got somebody over there as soon as he could, and took care of the problem. He apologized immensely, even though it wasn’t his fault. Things happen but the good part was he took care of it ASAP.

Ran the Wallis Sans half marathon on Sunday. This location was absolutely perfect for our weekend. Quick walk down to the beach where the race started, beautiful view from the room! Despite the rain that came in, we had the best time relaxing in the living room looking out at the ocean. Highly recommend this place!

Great place and views

Rye is a beautiful area with lots to do. This AirBnB has beautiful views and is close to many attractive amenities, but has a very hotel-esq feel. If you are looking to stay somewhere cozy that feels like home away from home, this is not the place. It was nice enough for a quick weekend getaway, and a great spot if you are going to be mostly out and about vs inside.

Location: 5/5! The unit itself was not private at all. You could hear the neighbors in the other units as though they were in the next room over (which they were...) without them being unduly noisy. Beautiful location and the unit had a beautiful ocean view, but if you're looking for peace and quiet not the place for you!

We loved our stay! We loved the walkable distance to the beach and the seclusion away from the city to reboot.

View was unbelievable! The place was very nice, well laid out, comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a bit small with little usable storage space and the walls were paper thin. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

What a gem! The location is not only convenient, but the views are breathtaking. You will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of supplies to cook meals and stay in to enjoy the view.

Beautiful location, beautiful view of the ocean. Lots of noise from neighbors but only during the day; everyone respected the “quiet hours”, just very thin walls and ceiling. So if you’re looking for a quiet place you might want to pack a folding chair with you and head across to the beach. Nothing extra but quite comfortable. Bathroom is old and tub has hot a strange configuration but everything was clean. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave and dishwasher and was stocked with coffee, sugar and creamer for the drip machine.

Sean was an excellent host. The space was exactly as described, check-in and out were efficient, the bed was comfortable, and the sunrises over the ocean were amazing.

We had a great 2 night stay at Sean’s place. I love this area of the NH coast so for me it was mostly about the location. Waking up with the view of the ocean was perfect and being able to walk across the street and sip my morning coffee on the rocks overlooking the tide pools and ocean was even more perfect. Wallis Sands is a great beach nearby also that we enjoyed, within walking distance or 2 min car ride. Sean’s instructions were very very thorough, informative, and precise. The place itself was great. The kitchen and family area are set up really nice. We had a couple friends over for dinner and it was a good space to hang out/host in. One thing we really could have used was a washer/dryer but we knew there weren’t any before we booked. We have 2 young boys so it’s always nice to have those amenities, especially being a beach property too. I do feel adding some hooks to hang items could be helpful in this property also… ie for towels etc.

We loved the location… beaches were close by with plenty of parking. We were also close to Portsmouth and visited a few nights. Loved the downtown vibe… and the ocean views.

Amazing view of the best of Rye Beach. The morning view of looking out of the bay window each morning to the beach across the street was priceless. The place is exactly as described and was very clean. Sean was very responsive from the beginning with recommendations and clear instructions about the place and how to get there. We ate at the Carriage House for my birthday. It was a quaint and with upscale food. Loved meeting the owners and the food was delicious. The drive along the coastline was breathtaking. Definitely recommend this place for a couple's stay.

Couldn't stay long but worth every penny! Trying to find a long term rental for the off season and this would be a perfect spot with an amazing view to admire all year long!

Really great place, beautiful view. Easy parking and access. Extremely comfortable couch. Access to a very interesting beach with big rocks just across the road. About 15mins drive to Newcastle. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful location on the Gulf of Maine. Great central location to experience New England. If driving bring linens and towels if extended stay. If flying request towels ( no washer/ dryer as listed). Sean is responsive and aims to please.

Rye Beach was an amazing weekend getaway, a three-minute walk from Wallis Beach, and even in the off-season the days were warm and lovely. Lots of friendly neighbors and adorable dogs too! The apartment itself was so nice to walk into after the drive; clean, comfortable modern style, beautiful ocean view, lots of windows and natural light, clean and acomodating kitchen, truly nothing to complain about. So I definitely recommend this for an easy weekend (at such an affordable price!!), but also there are local accomodations to be able to stay for weeks if that's what life calls for!
