Amazing view and so close to the beaches. Great deck to have coffee or snacks. Parking so convenient. Queen bed super comfortable but the pull out is not. Bathroom fine. Unfortunately the first thing you see entering is a badly repaired/hanging drawer and a storm door to the house with no hinges. Convenient to beaches and great restaurants and really an amazing location and view.

Great place, as advertised. The living room window looks right at the ocean and you can watch the sunrise from the living room. It’s gorgeous. The place itself was clean and everything was self-explanatory. The house is an older building like all in the area but it just added to the vibe. The only negative is that it’s right next to the street and there is traffic during the day so when we opened the living room window to listen to the ocean we mainly heard cars passing by. But that’s just during the day. If you want a cheaper place but still enjoy a good ocean-view vacation, this might just be the one you are looking for. Oh, and anything in Portsmouth is only 10-15 min away, bunch of good restaurants, etc.

Sean’s place in Wallis beach had a wonderful view. It was a lovely apartment. The unit could have a few upgrades to make it perfect ( trim painted around doors, cabinet doors fixed). It rained the entire time we were here the amazing view from the front window saved the trip.

Sean was a great host- easy to communicate with and very fast to respond. The house was spotless and was stocked with everything you need. The house is located just steps from the ocean making for fantastic views and the ability to hear the waves crashing all night long. I would absolutely stay here again!

Only stayed overnight but was just what was needed. Hearing waves crash off the rocks and beautiful views. Covered parking was a nice surprise. Cozy setting with views is always an East Coast treasure.

This rental lived up to each and every five star. Our small family, my husband, our baby, and I easily found, parked, and opened the door to an amazing view of the sea. It’s themed to sight, sounds, and smells we all crave on a beautiful East Coast getaway. The living area itself, beyond the gorgeous bay window that invites you, is clean, comfortable, and accounts for the small, forgetful trip items. Clean dish ware, coffee, ice, and the age old did we get ketchup? They have some! We hunted shells and sea glass a few baby steps across the street. Stocked the Radio Flyer one morning for a short walk to the beautiful beach, and (due to rain) also drove the 30 seconds to the large state park lot. We found the only negative to our experience was deciding the actual ocean… or the amazing view, breeze, comfort, and just inviting atmosphere these owners have created. A whimsical idea my husband and I had turned into what will be, hopefully a tradition. Thank you Sean!

Wonderful stay during Fourth of July weekend! The unit has an even better view of the ocean than pictured, parking was easy, and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked! (We especially appreciated all the coffee, tea, salt/pepper, and vegetable oil being available for us to use.) Only recommendation would be to bring your own beach towels for use at the beach, as they only supply bath towels at the unit. We loved this unit, and we recommend to all!

This was such a great air bnb for our family’s beach vacation! The best part by far was that it was walkable to a very nice, sandy, family-friendly beach. It was a comfortable place to cook a quick breakfast before we headed out to the beach, and a quick dinner before we watched a movie together, all sunkissed and happy, on the very comfortable sofa. There are a lot of really awesome places to eat out nearby, however if you plan to mostly cook for yourself like we did I would recommend bringing any essential utensils. But it has most of the basics and has an extensive spice collection! I would highly recommend for a small family, and expect to return myself!

A wonderful weekend away, the space was all we hoped for and the view was spectacular. Not a tourist area which was nice. Maybe add a few beach towels and chairs in the closet but that is our only recommendation!

The view was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. It was a perfect size for just the 2 of us, I was astounded at the ocean view every time I walked into the living room.

Chose to spend New Year's at Sean's with a friend because we wanted a kitchen and a view of our favourite stretch of sea and beach, Wallis Sands. It is a walkable distance to the beach. It was going to be perfect weather for a great view, so it was a no-brainer to book. It really is a stunning view from unit 9. It is a good sized space, cosy couch, good bed, very clean, easy to use kitchen and the mini-splits for heating/cooling made is cosy on a cold January night. Read the PDF welcome guide so if you're staying awhile you can bring some extra comforts if you need. The amenities cover everything to be sure. It's close to groceries, local fun and scenic drives. Even though it's right on the road, the noise was low and didn't bother us at all. You could hear a bit of the people in the unit on the other side of the wall but like in normal apartment living, nothing too disturbing. Overall would recommend for short or long stay.

He needed some tissues. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. Great view of the ocean.

We loved the apartment. We would have liked a little more lighting in the living room at times. The chain lock on the front door was broken but can be easily fixed. Otherwise the place was exactly as described. View was gorgeous even on the rainy days. We were able to watch a half marathon that took place on the weekend we were there from the expansive picture window. Truly enjoyed the drive on Ocean Blvd. And exploring was easy being on the border of both Maine and MA. If you’re visiting take a ride to Kittery Point ME and Plum Island MA - Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Truly spectacular!

Stunning view of the ocean! It really takes your breath away. I highly recommend looking up sunrise times. 15 mins to downtown Portsmouth and there is so much to do, we wish we stayed longer. Sean was wonderful to work with and was super responsive. We would definitely return for another stay at this clean and peaceful spot. Thank you for a memorable stay!!

Such a beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful, yet only short, lovely drives to anything and everything you could possibly want. Came for events in Portsmouth, but very much enjoyed staying outside the city. From the minute we booked Sean provided us with all the information we needed and then stayed in touch to insure we had a comfortable stay. Unit was very comfortable and everything functioned well.

We loved our stay! The location was great, easy walk to Wallis Sands, great parking. But above all the place was clean, comfortable, and the view was awesome. My only minor quibble - I don't particularly care for the smell of those drier sheets that people use, and so the bed linens had that smell. That's probably just me, and it wore off after a few days. Sean was an incredible host. He provided impeccable customer service, and very clear instructions on everything that we needed to know about the property. The ocean view from the living room window was incredibly breathtaking. I was able to watch the sunrise right from bed and was able to walk to the beach with my family. The house was just as described and felt very comfortable. We enjoyed the little extras like coffee, sugar, and spices that were left in the kitchen. Sean made us feel very welcome and made it known that he was available should we need anything at all.

Great location with a beautiful view! Loved being able to walk to Wallis Sands and the beach beyond each day without the hassle of finding parking. Beautiful rocky shoreline right in front of the condo that was fun to explore or nice to just sit and watch the waves. Rye is an easy jumping off point for other coastal towns. Condo was clean and updated-enjoyed having a deck off the back which still had a view of the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were very clean and well appointed. Particularly enjoyed the private deck for morning coffee, reading and evening glass. The location was beautiful with quite a few beaches close by to explore and short ride to fabulous shops and restaurants in both Portsmouth and Kittery. I can definitely see myself returning!

This place has a lot of great features. The view is beautiful and the deck is really nice. The location is great as well. Sean is very friendly and responsive. Despite all the great features above I wouldn’t recommend this unit for a family on an extended stay. The bedroom is really small and the pull out couch isn’t comfortable. Other than a closet with a few shelves and hangers there isn’t any place with drawers to store clothes. This location is in a unit with 4 other units and it is easy to hear what is happening in the unit below. One evening another guest below us played loud music well past the quiet hours and kept my children up. Thankfully, Sean was responsive when I reached out when it happened. Finally, for the price I expected better bed linens and it would have been nice to get two towels per person since we stayed 5 nights. Overall a great stay but I couldn’t give a five star rating based on the issues we had.

I stayed during the rain and this place made up for it with great views and a covered porch to relax on. I'm looking for a return date already.

This is a lovely condo right on the water just south of Odiorne. Great views from living room. Porch out back is awesome. Very large with comfy furniture. Good views from portions of the deck to water. Great place to relax and unwind. I hit all the rye seafood places for fun. They're great. Plenty close to Portsmouth and groceries. Perfect spot. I would love to come back.

Snug Harbor Unit 9 was terrific! I've been coming to this area for over 50 years and this was the best accommodation to date. What a huge upgrade from when I was a child and stayed here. Everything was in line with the listing. The view was amazing! Other tenants were considerate and quiet, which I appreciated. Sean was attentive to all of my needs and communicated regularly to make sure I was satisfied. I was more than satisfied and am looking forward to coming back. The only drawback was the lack of internet. Internet instability is noted in the listing however I was only able to work remotely by making my phone into a personal hotspot.

Snug Harbor is AMAZING! It was a pleasure to stay here. Waking up to the view of the ocean is priceless. We loved being able to just relax away the BIG city and filling up on lobster. We will definitely be back to enjoy this gorgeous location. Thank you, Jim and Nora

Great stay! The place is as pictured and the view is even more beautiful. There is a path in the rocks to the rocky beach below. It is great to visit at high and low tide. The place is clean and well supplied. You will get your passcode a few hours before check in. You are supplied one towel, hand towel and washcloth per person. There is no laundry on site. There is a shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower (but looked like it had been mixed and been there for awhile. You also get one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. Overall, it was a great visit and would stay here again! Each unit has it’s own parking space and town is only about ten minutes away.
