We loved staying in Chris’ home. It was peaceful and cozy - perfect for our last minute weekend away. Our dog, Kona, loved playing frisbee in the back yard while we grilled. Everything inside was lovely…we had a restorative weekend and are looking forward to coming back.

My son and I enjoyed our short stay. The house was clean and comfortable and just a short distance from downtown Portsmouth. Chris was helpful and communicated quickly on any questions.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Home is charming, everything was very clean and is a great place to bring your furry family member (yard is completely fenced in). Downtown Portsmouth is only ~1 mile away - so many great restaurants and shops nearby. No complaints - hoping to return again one day.

We loved our stay in Portsmouth! We traveled with our 1 year old son so the pack n' play and booster seat chair for him to eat in were perfect. You can tell they really think about their guests. Chris was great with communicating with us. The only unfortunate thing was the internet was out for our entire 3 day stay. It definitely was not the end of the world, but no TV in the evenings was kind of a bummer especially since our kid would go to bed early. We also did not have great cell service in the house so no wi-fi did make it difficult. We entertained ourselves with the board games they had at the house. We would absolutely stay here again though. We loved the house and area!

Chris’s place was very clean and easy to find. It’s not a prime location in Portsmouth, because it is not close to the downtown. However, for me, working at the hospital, it was perfect. My only criticism is that the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on a second floor. This is a very common arrangement in old New England houses. However, anybody who has trouble with stairs, should be aware of it and be aware that the stairs are rather steep. And the stairs to the basement where the washer and dryer are are very steep.

We had a fantastic girls weekend!! Loved the location was quiet but close to downtown which was fantastic! The kitchen had everything we needed. the living room had large sectional couch which made for a great place to sit and catch up on life! The bedrooms were spacious with ample closet space and comfortable beds! The bathroom had everything we needed and made for a good use of space off the kitchen. We would stay here again!!

Our weekend away at Chris’s home was so great! The house was super clean, cozy and so close to everything in the cutest little neighborhood! I must say the only noise we heard was the occasional plow when it was snowing but other than that, so peaceful! The house was stocked with everything we needed and more! We even had some snow and before we got up, the walkway and driveway were shoveled! We felt right at home and will definitely be back! Chris is extremely informative about the area and is so quick in responding to every message and made sure we were comfortable and all checked in! Highly recommend!!

Adorable little house only a mile from town and the waterfront. The house was cozy and dog friendly (complete with dog food bowl) with a great little fenced in back yard for Charlie to roam around in. Kitchen and baths had all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely go back again!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Portsmouth. It was close enough to all our favorite spots on the seacoast. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and check in/check out was easy. We would definitely stay again.

The place was perfectly located- we were here for a fall weekend where New England is more crowded than normal and the space was very comfortable. Portsmouth is easily drivable (less than 5 minutes), there were a lot of restaurants nearby, and the space was super comfortable and well appointed.

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’ house in Portsmouth! The house is comfortable, and there are some good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. It’s about 20 minutes to the historic downtown (by foot), or an easy drive. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped and the fenced yard was great for our pup.

A great stay for us, as it was within walking distance of a location we needed to visit frequently during our stay. The only problem was that the two main bedrooms were upstairs, and the only bathroom was downstairs. Now, normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but, my wife and I are in our seventies and both with limited mobility. But overall a very enjoyable stay.

our family had a wonderful stay at this location! we enjoyed the atmosphere and felt right at home! came from out of town and brought family from New Hampshire to visit with us and we were a comfortable and pleased with the environment! five stars would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away!

First, Chris was exceptionally attentive and responsive to our questions and requests. I honestly don’t think I ever waited longer than five minutes to hear back from him! The house is so cute, and it’s well-appointed and in a quiet neighborhood. There’s a grocery within walking distance, so stocking up for the week was super easy. The fenced-in backyard is a huge plus. And the house location allowed us to easily reach market square in central Portsmouth, Rye and points south, and Kittery, York, and other points northeast. All in all, this was a great experience, and we hope to be back!

I only docked a star for the price because for one night it was a tad spendy. However, with that said i understand the costs of cleaning and such. But the place was clean, close to downtown and it just felt cozy! Chris was very responsive and always nice! Thank you for that, much appreciated.

Chris was a very thorough and communicative host. The house is lovely, comfy and there are so many fun touches, such as the beautiful wood kitchen ceiling, the blue LR ceiling, and the great desk nook upstairs. We appreciated being able to bring our cat, and Chris's flexibility with changing the mowing day for the yard. The larger bedroom upstairs had a pretty good mattress for my tastes - I like a very firm mattress, and while this one is a little soft, it doesn't continuously sink like memory foam, and there are no dips in the middle, so I didn't wake up with back pain. The only thing that marred our stay was construction activity day we were there, which caused our cat anxiety. There was nothing Chris could have done about this, it was just bad timing. We loved the house and the convenience of the location.

Chris is a warm and lovely host, extremely responsive and proactive and this little place is super charming! Well-appointed, beautifully decorated and with window ACs, comfortable beds, great shower, super layout. The small side surprised me but it was also more charming than I expected! A little startling were how steep the stairs were as they were not shown in the photo and with the only bathroom on the lower level, I was a little worried my 84 year-old mother might fall down them in the middle of the night when she got up to use the bathroom. But she didn’t so great experience! Very quiet area, no noise at all. Less than 10 minutes drive to the fantastic downtown. Would definitely come back!

We loved staying at the rental on Morning street! The house was exactly as pictured - and even better in person. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the amenities you would need. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the kids items that were perfect for our 7 month old. I would 100% stay here again!

This was by far my favorite airbnb I have ever stayed at. I felt right at home immediately thanks to how clean, beautiful, and warm the space was. My dog also gives this experience five stars, and particularly enjoyed the large backyard. We had so much fun staying in on a rainy day and got cozy, taking advantage of the abundant TV channels. I’m very grateful for the amenities provided and found everything about it to be ideal. Chris was so kind throughout the whole process.
