Beautiful location with a few minute walk to the beach, some issues with cleanliness such as a the kitchen had coffee grounds from the last guess still and the sofa bed was unfortunately unusable due to it missing springs in the lower half causing you to fall through when sat on.

The view from this Airbnb was beautiful. It was the best feature about the place. Everything was ok but there were a few issues. The floors were dirty, the cushions on the deck were full of mildew, the lock on the bathroom door was broken, and the couch inside was visibly broken (we fortunately brought an air mattress and did not need to use the pull out bed). We notified the management about the deck cushions and bathroom lock. I saw from previous reviews that they were already aware of the problem with the couch and dirty floors. The kitchen area was nice and stocked with a variety of dishes. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Again, the view was breath-taking and by far the best feature of this Airbnb. I only gave it three stars because overall we felt like the location was incredible but everything else was just ok.

We loved our stay here! This was our second time staying at Snug Harbor. The location is absolutely amazing -- we loved walking across the street to the rock beach with our 4 year old, and Wallis Sands is also an easy stroll. The shared lawn was an awesome place to hang out too, and I love that the unit comes with some balls and other outdoor toys to play with. The unit itself was tidy, with clean linens and floors. Sean was also incredibly responsive -- we had a small issue, and he had someone out and the issue was fixed within a couple hours. Loved our stay here, and next time we're in the area we'll definitely come back!

This was an amazing beach house next to a perfect beach. The pictures are perfect and really represent what you get. It was super clean and Sean was great. He provided so much good information and the process was really simple.

Service, response & communication were all GREAT! 5 star! Thank you Sean. However, the actual inside of the accommodation was a disappointment. Beyond the white wash facade, it felt flimsy, like walking into a double wide trailer, but not gross. Lighting & furniture were cheap. Linens were thin & felt old. Lacked character & felt more stale than welcoming. Amazing locale. Just wished the ambiance was more quaint, old New Hampshire seacoast. Depends on what one is looking for, but I would recommend to others b/c of service & location.

What a lovely spot! The view from the living room looks directly into the water. Although the view was wonderful, the setup in the living room didn't feel conducive to hanging out in that spot the way I would have wanted with 4 people. The couch caved in and there was only one living room chair besides the couch. But if you're up for going out and not lounging much at home - it's great! There were no extra blankets for the beds and not many extra towels, both of which we would have benefited from. All that to say, it's a well kept spot with a lovely view and beautiful front porch!

Communication was excellent and Sean went the extra mile to text me instructions when I wasn't able to get online. This is a lovely spot and the unit was very comfortable. House rules and check out expectations were minimal and easy to comply with. Truly felt that our satisfaction was important to the host. Stay here.

What a great little place! We did a quick girls trip for some peaceful beach days before a big family vacation. The property was just as described, fairly priced and had an ocean view. Sean was responsive, thoughtful and shared lots of prepared info for our visit.

Peaceful serenity! Such a beautiful place and exactly as shown and described. So easy to find and so easy to get to other destinations - an easy walk to the beach and an easy drive to Portsmouth. Restaurants were near by however we hated leaving the cottage and chose to stay in. Be sure to bring shampoo and bath soap. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a really lovely stay here! Sean was very responsive and confirmed our last minute booking. Throughout our visit, he was responsive and helpful! Check in and parking were easy and the unit was clean and tidy upon arrival. It was quiet, spacious, and welcoming. It had everything we needed! We did a bit of cooking and found the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed exploring nearby beaches and playgrounds with our three year old. Portsmouth is not too far of a drive and we found lots to do there too. The view is absolutely incredible!!! Despite it being chilly (we stayed over Thanksgiving), the unit and front porch gets great sun in the mornings - cozy and relaxing. Only thing we took note of is that the couch sags a lot and wasn't too comfortable to sit on. Overall, highly recommended! We definitely hope to come back. Thank you for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful location and well equipped.

Greatly enjoyed my short stay at Seans place. He was helpful and cooperative with some initial changes to my booking dates brought on by an emergency. The home is lovely. Everything worked fine. It was clean. Location was well described and arrival instructions as clear as could be.

Sean's place was perfect - had friend visiting from Arizona during kitchen renovation and decided late in the day to book the reservation. We had a little trouble with the door code (likely user error) and Sean responded immediately. The place was just as described in the listing - great location, clean with easy parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the view of the sun rising over the Isle of Shoals was spectacular!

The place is clean, well set up. There are videos on how to operate everything, they even have a video to show you how to operate a pull-out couch. A bin of coffee is included. There is no dishwasher. My ONLY issue was that I did not receive the door code before I got there even though I kept asking for it many times. When you get there, before you log in to the Wi-Fi, there is a possibility that you do not have a cell signal to get the code. I had to sit on the front porch for twenty minutes attempting to get the code. That was my ONLY complaint about the place. Would definitely go back any time.

We chose this as a last minute stop and it was a great place for what we needed. Wish we could have spent more time there during the day because the view was wonderful!

We arrived after 10pm. The location was easy to find even though it was dark. The accommodations were awesome. The kitchen is small but definitely what we needed. The front lawn is beautiful. We were able to walk across the street to enjoy the water and the rock formations. There is a dock nearby where you can get the best lobster at Rye harbor lobster pound. Overall was an awesome stay. Everything was great!!

Our airbnb was gorgeous. What an amazing spot in Rye. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Great coffee and restaurants nearby. Close to Portsmouth. I only wish check in was a bit earlier and checkout was a bit later.

The view and location were outstanding! We could walk to the beach and places to eat. The house was very clean and well equipped. It was comfortable and cozy. Property management was very responsive and went above and beyond to fix a minor complaint. We hope to return soon!!

The location of this apartment is just great. You have a large terrace with a view of the sea, which starts only a few meters away. Also the checkin, parking, etc. ... were problem-free. However, this apartment is very expensive and I have higher expectations of some things, such as equipment, which have not been met. Just as an example, on the terrace there is no parasol. Since the terrace facing south is directly in the sun during the day, it was therefore too hot to use for much of the time. There were no towels for the beach and we had to drink our wine out of plastic glasses. Nevertheless, all in all, a very good apartment with minor drawbacks.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sean was quick to respond to any questions we had, and the space was clean, quite and comfortable.

The location of Snug Harbor #3 is perfect for ocean views, beach accessibility, walking and biking. It was quiet with a nice deck for sitting out once the rain ended. Having two assigned parking spaces was a huge plus. Once we arrived, we came and went as we pleased and the only thing we reached out to Sean for was clarrification on the wifi network and he got right back to us. It was super easy to check in and check out.

Great spot: ocean view + walkable to Wallis Sands beach! We've got a 4yo + 1yo, so we drove with our gear, but it was easy in, easy out, and it's 10 mins to Portsmouth (or Rye, 15 mins to Kittery, and 20 mins to Hampton, so there's plenty to do if beach isn't your scene!) which is ideal b/c that's where in-laws live. The space itself was a great size for the 4 of us for 4 nights. Host went above and beyond by providing a pack + play so we didn't have to bring one along, which is awesome. Tub and shower make it easy to hose kids down after the sand play, and kitchen is fully stocked IF one wants to cook, although there are so many good spots nearby, why would you ;-) A nice touch was providing coffee + sweeteners. Would absolutely stay here again for a long weekend beach getaway!

I liked Sean’s place, I slept great, bedding was great. I felt very at home at Sean’s.

The view was spectacular, the accommodations were comfortable and clean. We were very happy with everything. On a negative side the living room could use a side chair and am not a fan of Roku tv. But other than that we may plan on coming back. Thanks John P.

So glad we booked with Sean. The place is absolutely perfect. Incredible views, comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with everything you could need. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. Traveled with my 1 and 2 year old sons and my in laws and still had plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

Sean kept in excellent communication. Any issue (and there were almost none) was immediately addressed. His place is kept up perfectly. It has all the mod cons; the heating/cooling controls are especially easy to use and they work great. It's location is wonderful -- you can walk out your door, across the road, and there's the ocean, with rocks to clamber upon or sit on, whichever is your pleasure. Or you can sit on the deck and watch the ocean. Or you can sit at your dining table and watch the ocean. What's also great about his location is that Odiorne State Park is just minutes away, and it is a gem (including the Science Center). Also, Petey's restaurant is just down the road, with the best clam chowder I've ever had, anywhere. If you like to bicycle, run or walk there's a bike/jog/walk lane right out your door that goes for miles along the ocean. This is a broad lane of the roadway; drivers are accustomed to the presence of walkers, joggers, bike riders. A great place!

This place was in a beautiful location and a short walk to the beach. The directions of where to go, park, and enter the house we’re east to follow. There was quite a bit of hair in the bathroom and crumbs along the floorboards in the hallway but other than that, it was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

We took a family road trip in off-season up the northern coast and Sean's place was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The unobstructed views of the ocean with the waves crashing on the rocks was unsurpassed. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to take advantage of walking near the water or doing outdoor activities but I can only imagine how amazing thos place would be in the summer. It looked as if we were the first to stay in the newly renovated space. Everything was pristine clean!! The beds were super comfortable (I wanted to "steal" their pillows! LOL) The coffee and creamer pods were a nice touch. Instructions to gain entry were easy and our hosts were super communicative but also gave us privacy. I would highly reccomend!!

Great location! Sean was very attentive & always available. The condo is very nice & looks just as the pictures show. The hospitality was awesome. I would have given a 5, but a few things did cause me not to. When we arrived, the heat had not been turned on (30 degrees outside), and it was 60 degrees in the house, so we were cold for a little bit. Although not his fault, there were renovations being done right next door, & this is a duplex. They woke everyone up at 8am with banging & machines. Would have been nice to know before booking. Although not a requirement, there is no washer and dryer, but we were only given one set of towels per person for 3 nights. With there only being one bathroom, the hot water doesn't sustain for everyone getting showers, & we only had 4 people and house holds 6. I was a bit bothered though, as I was told I could not bring my dog a yorkie, but the house rules sign says be sure to clean up after your pet.? The views are stunning! I would stay again.

Beautiful view and wonderful rental

Barring very minor difficulties with entry (mostly from arriving after dark) the stay was as depicted. Lovely to wake and enjoy coffee and tea with an ocean view. The location was exactly what we’d been looking for, close to beaches, restaurants, and outlet shopping.

Wonderful apartment and spot. Close to lots to do. Poor cell service and unstable internet were a challenge.
