As birders, we loved the proximity to Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. The cottage is also very close to the town center, so we could walk to restaurants. The town itself is relaxed and quirky. Sean was very communicative, but we had no issues and enjoyed our stay very much.

House was very clean, loved the shower, bedding was comfortable and clean, and the neighborhood was great. Three minute walk onto the sand and right around the corner to pizza, coffee, store, etc. I enjoyed the high end appliances as well!

It is right across the street from an entrance to the most beautiful and quiet (when I went) beach! The apartment is a bit sparsely decorated, could use a furniture update, and many windows don't have screens. The neighborhood is lovely, and the host was responsive, though asks to sign up through a portal, which I didn't like. The location makes up for anything else lacking here!

Great location on Plum Island - fantastic bungalow across street from the beach. Cannot see the beach but it is so close! Very very clean - especially bath and kitchen which is important to us. Linens and towels felt clean and fresh. Very nicely appointed w/ great kitchen space w/ nice appliances. My husband and I enjoyed 3 days post labor day on Plum Island enjoying the beach, great biking, and wonderful shopping and restaurants in Newburyport. Have to pay extra for early/late check-in/out but we were able to find things to do. Great for 2-3 people - might be a bit tight for 4 but you could make it work. Would definitely stay again. One of my favorite AirBNB's to date.

Had the most wonderful stay at the nest with my husband & our 3 girls. Absolutely perfect location. Right across from the beach — 1 minute walk! Walkable to all Plum Island restaurants (our fav being the sunset club) and a 5 min drive to Newbury downtown. Cutest little house - super high end appliances and fixtures. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Sean was an absolutely wonderful host - proactive and wanted to make sure our vacation was the absolute best.

Plum Island is a great time and this location is right where you want to be. It’s an easy walk to the beach and all restaurants & stores on the island, plus a very short drive to downtown Newburyport. The house itself is up to date with a great kitchen for cooking and a nice deck for hanging out at night. The host was very responsive anytime we had a question.

The Nest was a fantastic stay! Beach access was just across the street, the location was close enough to the center of plum island for necessities but far enough to be a peaceful, quiet area. The amenities need some google searching and figuring out. I recommend bringing a microwave if you do not know how to use a convection oven. Wife also mentioned that there should be a full body mirror for those late night dinner dates. The Nest was clean, neat, and organized. The deck was our favorite spot, the neighbors were quiet. Privacy was limited if the window shades were open, but during the day the windows were shaded enough to not be seen. We will definitely rent from this manager and The Nest again (and we will be back).

This airbnb looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was clean, upgraded and spot on. We loved the spacious walk in shower - came in handy having a toddler. Location wise, it's literally a 2 min walk to the beach - a very clean private sandy beach! Sean had clear instructions and was on top of everything! We would definitely stay here again.

This place had modern upgrades, but lacks some basic comforts that would have infinitely improved our stay. Pros: Place was clean and convenient and comfortable. The beds stood out as being quite comfortable. The coffee maker was also very nice. Our host was quick to respond and provided us with missing pot holders, although other issues we had were not addressed. Cons: No hot water (unaddressed), no microwave (steam oven not the same, hard to reheat coffee in a steam oven, and no instructions for use, unaddressed), grill broken (a literal hole in the bottom of it), outside fireplace broken

My husband and I stayed for two nights in the dead of winter. We loved it. Great place. Had everything you might need and more. Was warm and cozy. Easy beach access. Beautiful beach - get down there for sunrise! Quick drive to Newburyport (try Loretta, a great restaurant).

Had a lovely, quiet little New Years at this spot. So close to the beach for —albeit blustery given the season!—nice walks. Well stocked, reliable appliances (ok now I want a steam convection combo oven), feels spacious despite being a small unit, and all one floor was perfect given that I am quite pregnant. (There are just a couple steps in the front and a few more than that from the parking spot to the back door, if you’re concerned about stairs.) definitely keeping it on my list of spots when I return to PI!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic house on Plum Island, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the charming beachy decor and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The house is ideally located just a short walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for daily trips to soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning ocean views. It's also close to local shops and restaurants, so exploring the island is a breeze. Inside, the space is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area offers the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure. I especially loved the large deck where I could lounge with a good book and breathe in the fresh sea air. The owners were incredibly responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Their attentiveness truly made a difference.

Great place and location. Four adults and 2 small children. (Bring what you need for small children - we rented Pack and play and high chair). A few maintenance items and things to take care of that we communicated to Sean but nothing too far out of the ordinary for a beach rental. Host was very receptive to our suggestions. Could use another comfy seat or two in the living area but otherwise furnishing was good. Would definitely stay again. Nicely remodeled. Great appliances and shower was really nice.

We had a nice relaxing stay at The Nest on Plum Island. The location directly across the street from the beach was terrific. The cottage was super clean. We all loved the shower and the beds were very comfortable. The appliances, kitchen sink, and lighting was very nice. The check-out is pretty simple, which is great for a 10am checkout time. We would definitely return and recommend The Nest when visiting Plum Island and Newburyport area!

Nice place and looked as described. Close to amenities and beach. Had all utensils as detailed. I was a little worried about the noise monitoring system but had no issues. Beach chairs were available but older, 1 was broken and as I was sitting in another on the beach it ripped and I was sitting in the sand. I’m going to assume that it’s early in the summer season so they were probably going to get replacements anyway. Would definitely go back

Sean's Place was conveniently located for trips to Byfield and downtown Newburyport. The house was clean and had great appliances. The setup was great for hanging out too. Easy walk to breakfast, convenient stores and the beach. Great parking and easy instructions for getting the place dialed in. Sean is super friendly and very responsive. A great stay!

My family of 4 and I spent a wonderful 4 days in this clean, comfortable and tastefully renovated house. It is situated right across the street from a magnificent beach on Plum Island that even in November was a pleasure. After crossing the beach and going over the dune we could see the sunrising over the ocean! The kitchen is well equipped and we really appreciated the gorgeous WOLF range. Communication with Sean was easy and he was quick to respond to all questions. We hope to return someday!

The one-level house was perfect for a couple and had ample space to enjoy delicious outdoor cooking at the available grill. The kitchen was well-equipped and ready to use. It would have been great to see a fire pit at the back as it has a favorable space for another amenity to enjoy the ocean wave sound from afar. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants to escape from the city. The hosts are always available for any questions.

Great beach house just steps across the road from very nice quiet beach - was a perfect spot for our family of four to relax for a few days. Walkable to everything, including delicious dinners and ice cream. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, and solid beach equipment were very much appreciated! Sean a very responsive host and got right back to us after we extended our rental and had a small snafu with the door code - we really were grateful for his response time.

This is a centrally located house with east beach access and high-end appliances. It was easy to find and easy to enjoy - highly recommended!

The Nest was absolutely perfect for a family getaway. If you don’t want to deal with the crowds of Hampton I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is located across the street from the beach, and very close to the shops and restaurants. I have two small children and bringing to and from the beach can be a hassle but at The Nest it was as easy as crossing the street. The home was very modern and well kept full of anything we needed and Sean was extremely helpful, respectful and quick to respond.

Excellent stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at "The Nest". It's not large, which is perfect for a few people wanting to spend time together. The kitchen is modern with new, high-end appliances and plenty of counter-space. The mattresses are very comfortable. The deck is a great hang-out space. The beach is literally across the street and not crowded by any measure.

We had a wonderful time on Plumb Island. The large deck, modern kitchen, and proximity to the beach, really made Sean’s place an excellent pick. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic time at Sean's property. The house was fresh, clean and modern and had everything needed for a great beach vacation. The back deck was ideal for grilling and relaxing in the evening, with spacious comfortable seating. The property is RIGHT across from beach access, and the beach wasn't crowded at all. There's AC and a HUGE TV, for when you're not on the beautiful beach. I highly recommend this place!

The house didn’t feel especially high end — the appliances were nice but the bedrooms were very basic and cramped. Despite the very high cleaning fee, the space wasn’t very clean — trash/recycling bins were overflowing (even the containers outside), beach towels were in the laundry, and the body wash bottle in the shower was empty (nice Kiel’s face wash, though). On the plus side, check in/out was easy and the location right across the street from the beach was really great. Overall it was an okay stay, just didn’t feel worth it for $800 for one night.

The cottage is extremely well designed with high end appointments, appliances, and furniture. It is brand new and everything is bright, shiny, sparkly, and clean. We arrived in the summer and found the cottage cool which was a relief since it was quite warm. The cottage is easily located within walking distance to bars and restaurants. It was nice to not have to drive if you choose not to. The neighbors are close but everyone is very friendly. The beach is very close making it super convenient to walk to the beach and come back to cottage for drinks for bathroom for a break from the sun. Everything about the cottage as pictured and described was accurate and delightful. I highly recommend and would be delighted to stay again. The cottage and location made it a perfect stay. We had a few questions about the sound system upon arrival and got immediate responses from our hosts.

Sean's place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with bikes and walking distance to the amazing beach and restaurants. His place is great, very clean and has everything you need. We stayed for a long weekend with our two younger children and they loved having their own bedroom, space on the back deck and waking across the street to the beach.

The perfect location - across from the beach! It's like a modern beach cottage, everything is very thoughtful, shiny, new, and spotlessly clean. The beach chairs are a huge plus - all you need to bring is a beach umbrella, cooler, and some beach toys if you have kids! (Maybe a beach wagon to tote everything.) We went with our toddler and it was great to be able to go quickly back at the house when she needed a break from playing in the sand, and loved being able go to Newburyport for adventures and lunch/dinner, if we didn't picnic on plum island. Kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, which was very convenient, and DoorDash is also available. We hope to come back soon!

The Nest was the perfect beach getaway! Brand new luxury renovation, the hosts thought of everything from tech in the house, chef's kitchen, spa quality shower, to grill on the deck & chairs for the beach. Location is also unbeatable, right across from the beach and 5 minute walk from bars & restaurants. My wife and I can't wait to go back!
