Travel & Leisure Magazine praises Newburyport as “one of the best laid-back beach towns in the Northeast”. First settled in 1635, Newburyport has a long and rich history. Located on the southern bank of the Merrimack River where it empties into the Atlantic Ocean, downtown Newburyport is quaint, picturesque, walkable and has many top-rated restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. We recommend The Grog for pub food, Michael's Harborside for seafood on their open-air deck, The Poynt for small plates and cocktails and The DECK for casual waterfront dining and drinks. Be sure to visit Bob’s Lobster for award-winning lobster rolls and golden-fried seafood and chowder

Our stay at this beach house was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, being right on the beach with stunning views from the second-floor bedrooms. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful decks, enjoying the scenery and the fresh ocean air. The kitchen was fully stocked with top-notch appliances, making meal preparation a breeze. Our family will have beautiful memories that last a lifetime and we are forever grateful that the owner gave us the opportunity to spend time in his incredible home. The property management team was always available and incredibly friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to stay here again if they'll have us. Highly recommended!

Plum Island is really unique, and the house right on the beach was so great. We loved Mad Martha's for breakfast or lunch (Weds - Sat)! and the Ice Cream shop a walk away. Each low tide brought some sandbar ""islands"" into view and we loved exploring them! It was so peaceful waking up to the surf and the birds!

Place was beautiful, I needed a quick, private vacation for me and a cpl friends and this was it. We loved that they had labels on lights. I'm a chef of sorts, so the kitchen matters, had a great island with cold storage in it. Dishwasher, DBL sink with disposal. Only thing is I travel with my own set of vacation pans, this place has a induction stovetop so need to bring things that will work with that, they did have their own pans there in the house that worked great. Very modern, nothing out dated. Amazing view from upstairs and downstairs as well. Was up every day to watch the sunrise and you can see it from anywhere you want to. Nice little sunrise mini deck they had too. Beach is right down the path can come and go as you want. Outside deck had a nice foot wash and shower spot on the deck and below on the side of the house. I used the grill daily, they have extra tanks, was easy to replace one, I also brought my own just in case but I didn't need it. Maintenance was very easy, hardwood floors everywhere, quick sweep at night, swept the deck with a nice broom they have there took about 15sec, that's all ya really had to do there, sand maintenance and bug spray and your gonna enjoy yourself. I had a great stay, I didn't need a thing from anyone or had any problems at all, everything was fine and I'm sure if I did have an issue it would of been handled right away. Highly recommend. Hope to come back again next vacation, whenever that may be 🌞
