This house was perfect for our family stay for 5 adults. It actually looks like the pictures, with special extras that were not photographed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, utensils, and necessary small and large kitchen appliances. It has a pantry that is well stocked with daily necessities. The yard and setting are an extra bonus. There is lots of outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. There were also special things in the house to accommodate our dog. The host was easy to contact and responsive to all messages. Our stay in this home was our best Airbnb experience thus far.

This rental at first did not meet our expectations. We contacted the owner who collaboratively set about addressing the issues we found with the property. We believe when he resolves these issues, this property will be perfect for the next tenant. The location is great. The house is spacious and well laid out on a secluded lot. It’s ideal for a family and is convenient to the beaches and downtown Portsmouth and Newcastle. We appreciate the effort our host made to make our stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach, great for walking and swimming. It’s also very close to Portsmouth and Kittery, both lovely towns with plenty of nice restaurants and shops. One small tip: it’s best to use Google Maps to get there, since Waze takes you to the street behind the house. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this house over Labor Day weekend. The inside of the house was great. Super spacious and clean. The only thing we didn't love were the stained chairs in the kitchen. It looked like dogs used them as beds. The yard was very rough - not a lot of green grass and not much landscaping. The yard had lots of dog poop which made our bocce game a little gross. We had also thought we would play pickleball during our stay, but the "court" was basically drawn with chalk on an old asphalt driveway. The weather was gorgeous and we would have loved to have eaten meals outside but there was no place to do so. The wrap around porch is very skinny and there is no outdoor dining space. The couch cushions on the outdoor loveseat were also very stained. Leave your white pants at home ;) As long as you stay inside this house is great. Lots of room. Great for dogs, but I was thankful I wasn't bringing kids to this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A family reunion. The home was perfect. Open space for family gathering. Would definitely go back!!!!!

Our group really enjoyed our stay! If I had one thing to say, it would be that the floors were a little dusty and dirty. For the price we paid, we had hoped for a very clean experience and didn’t quite get that. Overall though, we would definitely return!

We had such an awesome stay! Sean was so communicative and the house is beautiful. We went to Wallis Sands twice and it was so convenient to go to Portsmouth as well. The crib was a big bonus for us with toddler…usually we’re having to creep into bed on trips. Thanks so much!

Long John Landing was exactly what we were hoping for—spacious, kid/baby friendly and in a beautiful natural environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family and friends.
