✫ We provide a starter supply of essentials (shampoo, body soap, hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper), coffee, sugar, and creamer to help you settle in. These items are intended to get you through the first few days of your stay. If you anticipate needing more, please plan to bring additional supplies.

Cleaning: Our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc). This is an old house. It is almost 250 years old but has been beautifully restored. The occasional bug or old house smell is possible due to the nature of the home.

Important: No smoking, vaping or drugs allowed. No events, parties or large gatherings. Must be at least 25 years old to book We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. We also have a Minut noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound, but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, we loved the area, and everything was just as described. Sean was great to work with and stayed in direct communication throughout our stay. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

We had a difficult stay. There was a problem with both the heater (wouldn’t turn off) and the dehumidifier in the basement (broken) so the heater pumped a brutal mildew smell throughout the house. The house had dusty areas which clearly weren’t clean and there was mildew in the shower. Sean was responsive to have the problems addressed but the smell lingered. He was kind enough to release us from our contract to move to a hotel, but the 20% discount was pretty weak. The lack of empathy, especially since we were traveling with a toddler, was also disappointing. The airbnb is run by a property management company, so has the feeling of more of a business than a home. Very disappointing stay.

In town but as quiet as the country. Charming home. Walking distance to town(5-10 mins depending on kids!) parking is right next to the house off street. Very nice place if you love to get away to a costal town. Newburyport is fantastic.

The host is responsive and proactive, and the space is clean and offers a nice retreat after you’re done with walking, shopping, and eating downtown. Highly recommend.
